My mother used to work as a PSA in a hospital and sadly, even she had a very highly monitored time limit for cleaning per room. So, I cannot imagine the time limitations that the housekeeping team on the large cruise ships are under. Giving a cabin a little refresher isn’t offensive or rude towards the housekeeping team, it’s helping to bring you relaxation and comfort…and making your holiday space the same as your peaceful home space. I’m new to your channel and your content is a blessing on the cloudy days! 😊

It really just dawned on me that most blk ppl do this because our grandparents (especially from the south), cleaned homes. They were often the only jobs that blk women could get, and nannys. I used to be sad about it...but seeing this beauty turn it into a way for her and the family to have financial independence, and spread joy.......got me emotional! Look at God .❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

As Someone who worked in housekeeping for several years I think you have to clean your room to how you see fit. Whatever makes you feel safe. If people have anything against that, they be surprised that Housekeeping can’t possibly get to everything in the amount that the hotels or cruises, give them time to do. It’s simply impossible. So giving it a second pass is a great idea. I would encourage it.

I think this is very sensible. Particularly with the c virus. I also think travelling while wearing a N95/P2 respirator (mask) especially on 'public' transport is wise. Who cares what some people think. It's honestly none of their business to 'judge' you. Love and hugs
