Very timely, I was shopping for shorts and cam home with nothing. Pretty day there,I’m just north in OC. I was just down there touring Lions, Tigers and Bears Sanctuary. First time I had seen the sun in about 3 weeks, we’ve been covered by June Gloom. ❤

Greetings from Québec, Canada. We are all keeping our fingers crossed so that rain really pours down and help quash those terrible forest fires presently ablaze in my beautiful province. I “hate” shopping, trying too many articles of clothing that do not fit. Now, thanks to you and this “fabulous” video, I will be able to avoid a lot of shorts misfits ! Thank you 😊✌️

Brilliant advice as always and so kindly given. I am 62 and haven't worn shorts for years. Then last summer the heat made me give them another go! A revelation. I love linen and happily build new outfits with my favourite pairs. Thanks for the inspiration!

Excellent! I agree, one of my pet peeves-wearing ill fitted clothing. So distorts the line and design of the clothing and those expensive duds look cheap . I have found self tanning helps disguise imperfections. Thanks for your advice

Welcome to the U.S! I haven’t worn shorts in years unless I was at the beach or pool until I started using self tanners to camouflage all the spots and veins! They have improved tremendously in the past few years and given me much more confidence… I’m so happy to enjoy shorts again! Thank you for the tips!❤

Oh what a lovely backdrop… I love San Diego. Thanks for the tips… I recently bought a skort that looks great and balanced. It’s a light colored pattern with a navy polo shirt fits perfectly with my Florida Life. Great video! I live in Arizona’s desert heat and I don’t like shorts on me after a certain age, droopy knees and spider veins. I love the maxi dress look you suggested (. 5 ft 3 here) with small print and the wrap skirt too. Also love your longer denim n short and the white shorts. I will be starting my summer shopping in February wish me luck!

Great video! I used to hesitate wearing shorts as I have gotten older. I do find Chico's does a great job with their shorts. The Brigette line of shorts and pants are by far my favorite.

I am not sure, whether I can follow you in every point.... The reason is, that you are lucky enough to look great in all different garments. It has to do with your beautiful legs (your beautiful figure to be precise). Your tip to wear high rise trousers, is very important! I learned that a while ago... I like your colours in your presentation scene as well. Blonde hair, tanned skin, a very nice shade of red in your bathing suit. Congrats from Germany!

Unfortunately, higher vamp shoes are becoming trendy, but I won’t buy any. They’re so unflattering, I love a low, square vamp shoe to visually elongate my legs. I’ve never been able to get my wider toes into a pair of pointed-toe shoes, which makes a low vamp even more important to me.
