SHoSS Utsuho's Theme: Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom

For anyone having difficulties at this boss with Reimu and just wondered if the theme song on youtube would have any tips: The lava balls she throws at the first and third attacks (her nonspells) transform into lava which shoots to the opposite side of the part of the screen limit they hit when they go out of the screen. If you fall (and you can fall infinitely) you push the scrren down and doing so will make the balls explode and launch lava downwards because they will hit the top part of the screen. After that you can just fly upwards holding C and you can turn the lava from them into water, and with that you can cheese by casting spells using the water. Second attack (first spell) is kind of difficult but in general stay on the middle and move along with the falling fire. Dodge to the other side of the fire curtain when Utsuho bashes a ball from the side from which the fire curtain is coming or when the fire comes close. If you do that correctly you can always hit her on the middle of the screen when she just generates the balls if you get good plataform placement by jumping and attacking. Maybe you can turn the lava from the balls hitting the bottom into water and launch spells to speed it up. On the forth attack (second spell), you pretty much just need to float or position yourself correctly on the plataforms and attack. It's easier for you to do the aerial fowards X button attack where she throws cards if you get the correct angle. If your difficulty is the last spell, it's very simple: just start going down and don't stop. If it works, don't ask, i also don't know.

I personally struggled the most with Murasa against Utsuho. It felt way too easy to launch yourself into the walls with her anchor shots. These are some good tips though

@@Drago-ir8ny Murasa is actually easier. Don't launch yourself to the sides, instead, position yourself below her and launch yourself down, then up and get the water. Altough you don't actually need the water because her amount of power is so ignorant you can just wait for Utsuho to go down and launch yourself into her instead for insane damage. Attack 2 (first spell) is the same as Reimu but easier, you can just rush her down by launching yourself into her and when she moves the balls wait until she bashes one of them and turn red, and then you can just launch and it will be enough damage that you won't need to care about getting hit often. The forth attack (second spell) is tricky but with the correct plataform placement you can dodge the lasers and the lava. Going down with her on the last spell is easier by pulling yourself downwards, too. I actually took more than 20 tries to beat the second phase of the final boss with her, but then i realized something that will go as another tip: If launching with z isn't enough damage, hold the arrow keys diagonally up and press x, then use z after, and repeat. Doing that x move will make Murasa spin the anchor and that is even more damage. I got through the second spell of the second phase of the last boss (and that spell is a nightmare) by just doing this and rushing damage.

My only strategy for Yuuma’s 2nd phase 2nd spell was to time a chain of dashes so that the border would turn red on the last dash. Granted, that strategy often wound up with me lacking a dash to get to a bubble afterward, but it gave me more than enough health to afford several mistakes in the final phase, which I just timed dashes in to avoid the geysers
