Miguel Guillén Not in this repertoire. You must be joking. This really is a pretty lame performance. If you don’t believe me, listen to Haitink, Bernstein, Mravinsky and Rozhdestvensky among others and you’ll hear what a difference it makes in the hands of a conductor who knows what the music is about and how it should sound.
@miguelguillen19755 жыл бұрын
Hi Axel X. Yes, Dudamel is the best in my opinion but taking into account the current context. Gustavo has a great musicality that he transmits to his musicians in both rehearsals and live concerts. Maybe Dudamel is the best live orchestra director with Nézet-Séguin (in my opinion).... Yes I have listened to Haitink, Mravinsky ... I think the versions of Mahler's symphonies directed by Bernstein are insurmountable. Bernstein was a great director in his time but I don´t like his versions of Mozart or Beethoven ... to give an example. I prefer the Karajan-Beethoven tandem even if it is not my favorite director's. There are very good directors who have adjusted to a certain repertoire: Mahler / Bernstein, Karajan / Beethoven, Giulini / Brahms ... On one occasion I had the opportunity to listen to Celebidache in 1993 in Spain with his Munich Philharmonic, in my life I have heard an orchestra sound that way. Anyway: there's no accounting for taste but I would pay to see Dudamel. Regards.

The entire string section of all the orchestras of Venezuela is characterized by performing any work with the same euphoria or feeling and we do not smoke weed. So you can see that I don't lie, you can play from 0:25. It's called Alejandro Carreño. It is the first violin of the Venezuelan Simon Bolivar symphony orchestra. As for the bassist, it's called Edicson Ruiz. . That's how Jose Antonio Abreu taught us and it's how Gustavo likes to see us feel the music every time he directs us. for performing that way the symphony orchestra of Venezuela Simon Bolivar is one of the best in the world and its musicians have export quality ... greetings and blessings to youb

Just compare the Sado version and this version here on youtube (both on this channel) - I mean the orchestra seems to like Dudamel and I am sure he is propably a nice guy but I cannot understand why he is that famous. Luckily Petrenko is exactly the opposite and I am really looking forward to next season (please pay a visit in Frankfurt again!).
