Many people quote the "red pill" scene from the first Matrix movie when they talk about "taking the red pill". That scene provides a powerful way of thinking about changing one's mind or waking up to a new reality. But how did it do that?

When Morpheus’ face frames the red and blue choice, the red pill is in shadow-and the blue is in light, not because it is symbolic of truth (light) and lies (dark), which are reversed-but because nestling the red-pill amidst darkness and shadow makes it *FEEL* like it is the mysterious and dangerous choice. The blue pill being on the lit-up right-side of his face-associates it with the world *WE CAN SEE*--and thus associates it with a feeling of greater safety-because it is *WHAT IS KNOWN.*

How you not get copyright strike for using other video clip

they don't give you strikes first. Initially, the copyright owner can make a copyright claim. The KZbinr can challenge that in a variety of ways. Then, the copyright owner can overturn that challenge. A strike only happens if the KZbinr re-challenges and loses that second challenge.
