I love this 😅 I don't get people disliking your video, they have no sense for humour. Clearly your espresso making skills are flawless!

SiXftSiXTaLL same here, did you end up getting the Quamar? If so how do you like it?
@StevenvanderGraaf8 жыл бұрын
Tommy F. Yes i bought it and still use it to my satisfaction. Adjustment to the grind can be a bit of a hassle the amount of coffee differs 0.5/1.0 gram sometimes not regularly . If you are a purist and like your grain to be spot on every time i would think about another grinder but it will cost you twice and up. For me it's fine, i use the Quamar with a Rocket R58 and it gives me delicious coffee for over 2 yrs now ;-)

@nealeajames Thanks for the compliments! I just bought the "normal" GS/3 padlle and together with a friend, who is a violin maker, we did the wooden parts; the portafilterhandles and the steam-knob and the drip-tray. It's all made of Santos Pallisander wood. Also the glass side panels are made (local shop). And you are right, the shot with the sugar was just a tad to sweet ;-) Normally i drink it without!

I love the GS3, I am driving to Germany on Monday to get one. No dealer in Switzerland has it in the store.

@Nautijan I had a quiet fine grind, than it tends to clump a bit. But with the right tamping (and a little distribution) i never had channeling problems.

did your shot taste balanced? ;)

The coffee looks lovely, with a red colour through the grind. Where's the coffee from if you don't mind me asking? I'm currently using a single origin (Brazil Daterra blossom) which also has a slight redness to it. A super-fine grind by the looks of it - ristretto style...:)

ha! my wife would probably think it needs a little more sugar.

The trick, is actually thats about 2 kilos of Cocaine :) nice setup dude, I'm thinking of getting an M80E myself (although slightly harder to come by in the UK). You still happy with it? and can the top of the doser be removed for cleaning, like it can on the mazzer mini-E?

Nice wooden inlays on the Marzocco. Where, might I ask, did you obtain such?
@heckelman7 жыл бұрын
We made them ourselves! Was quite a fund job to do actually.

The grinder seems to clump a bit, do you distribute or tamp right away? No channeling?
