I have coached for years, and your insights, methods, modes of analysis, and willingness to share make you the single most valuable resource for throws coaches around the world. I sincerely thank you.

very cool video for me. Pretty cool for me to see cuz it in a way is what i was doing back in the day early 80 did this in high school and was only 5'7" and about 180 lbs. I didnt spin but was able to use explosive speed to start and then able to transfer forces through body in much the same way. once again cool.

I agree with you . Dartfish does not give accurate informations on speeds with this sort of video. One needs a high speed camera for more precise observations , especially on the end of the delivery.

Yes I can , but it takes a lot of time . be patient. I shall do it whenever I have the opportunity. Cheers DP

@MrVilius707 Discus is of course more complex, as angle of attack and rotational velocity must be added to height of release, angle of release and velocity at release.

Sorry I cannot coach at distance just on these informations . As you seem to have different problems , I would advise you to find a throw coach nearby or a more advanced thrower. DP

What a silly, offensive, absolutely graceless comment. I hope you are a poorly-raised child, and not actually an adult, and God help your athletes if you are a coach.
