When you shoot it, does it always vibrate or does it only vibrate when it hits a pin? Thanks!

Hey Ryan. Usually vibrates when it locks onto the pin but that's in the main mode. The other mode (scan), allows you to scan whilst holding the fire button and will constantly update the distance without vibrating. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask any other questions. cheers!

@AndysGolfBlog thanks for your comment. I'm trying to figure out in golf mode if when it locks onto anything it vibrates or if it only vibrates when it senses a pin. For example, the cobalt only vibrates when you shoot a pin -- it won't vibrate when you shoot a bunker or a tree. Did it vibrate when you were shooting the telephone pole of other objects around your house? Thanks!

Single press in M1 will show distance but not vibrate. Pressing and holding will cause device to vibrate but only when locked onto a pin or slim post. I just shot a thin lamp-post and it managed to lock onto it. Shot a group of trees and some other objects but no lock on - so works as expected. Ta
