Hotton Sensei is even more fluid, powerful and skilled in his 60s than whenever this was filmed. Amazing. One of the people I'd love to study with.

They should have given Rick Hotton a role in Cobra Kai. Maybe as a third student of Mr Miyagi who Daniel never met/knew about. Julie Pierce was the 2nd.

I bought this on Vimeo around the time I started training with Hotton-sensei. Excellent coverage of Karate-do, Aikido, and Kyudo. Highly recommended!

Nice Rick, I have followed you for years. As much as I know little about Karate, I certainly see Energy Creation. To me that's what it's about. Creating Positive Energy! Be well my Friend.

What Mr Hotton does and teach today is completly different from what is shown in this video - a great journey and true self evolution! And by the way - BUDO is Japanese but Karate is not (in its historical and cultural essence).
