I absolutely love your reaction brother. I remember when this song dropped I was 15 or 16 years old and had bought the album and this was a song that stayed on repeat heavy during my teenage years. I am now 37 years old going on 38 and this song brought back the inner child. So I appreciate you knox for doing a full analysis to this classic bop. It's worth noting that the kid dancers Em used appear to be the _same ones_ Missy Elliot used in _her_ music videos of the period, such as "Work It". The girl in white top and red pants is (or is representing) Alyson Stoner, who is _still_ a professional dancer. Alyson reunited with Missy in 2020 for the VMA's retrospective performance. The police officer reading the newspaper was Erik Estrada, former star of C.H.I.P.S. (a tv show you have to be a certain age to remember).

I remember reading about Stevie Wonder accusing Eminem of culture vulture because of this video. But Eminem clarified in interviews that he doesn't actually hates Michael, it's just that EVERYONE was trolling Michael when those investigations were happening, so Eminem (who's know to troll everyone) of course was gonna do it. Which by the way, MJ never officially got guilty, many people act like he did but no. Even in that Neverland documentary there's many people who called out the inconsistencies with the documentation and the dates of the events, even many of those children that are now adults publicly talked that MJ never did anything bad to them. Like many people forget that, the parents had TO SIGN A PERMISSION for the kids to go to Neverland ranch. Like this it's not Epstein's island. Also many people say that "oh MJ bought Em's entire catalog-" No. I think MJ bought a section of Em's catalog (maybe someone can explain the details better to me in the comments), so certain songs generated income to MJ but it's not EVERY single song that Em did at the time, I swear many people get the details so fucking wrong.

Well said. MJ only bought 2-3 songs at that time and in 2005 Em dropped Curtain Call: The Hits and he got money from those songs MJ bought which were on original albums. And again in 2016 Em bought & gained all rights to his music, all his catalogue even those 2-3 songs bought by MJ.

He was one of the stars of CHiPs ('77 - '83).
