Yah, I figured he was a bit far through the timber to shoot with no rest so I just filmed and prayed rob would make it happen. I knew they were heading up towards him. Bummer for sure, o well they will be bigger next year !!!

My ADKs experience is the deer run in a straight line away from the threat for about half a mile or more. They do not circle back like deer accustomed to humans do.

dang. I use to live up there. I love how people in the Northeast always puts s on all words 1:31 parallel"s". Lets go to walmarts or the high schools. This always cracks my wife and I up.

I hunt Penn Mountain in the ADK foothills and there is nothing like that there. If you are lucky enough to see a buck it’s usually small.

I've been hunting NY for over 20 years.. From the North Country to the Wine Country, Mountains to Crops. Hunting can be tough. With that said.. we just watched a video where a hunter off camera was heard repeatedly shooting at a deer off camera, and all were clean misses. Better luck next time.
