It has to be said that cod has been on a massive downward trend ever since they got a weird door fetish. Remove the doors, keep maps simple, stick to 3 lanes and the maps should be relatively decent

Yeah, the thing I don't understand about the doors is that they generally just stay open the entire game after the beginning so what's the point? I guess in SnD they add some complexity to routes and peeking certain rooms, but in respawn they are either irrelevant or being annoying because they fly open and closed as you try to shoot someone next to them.

Yeah it’s just a really weird concept why they keep adding them. MW2019 actually ruined cod tbh, the gameplay was absolutely abysmal and that’s when doors were officially added to maps

Cod would be infinitely better off if they split the studio, had separage devs for WZ and released it as a standalone free game so the other set of devs can just focus on the actual cod games.

The players should make the income of a regular 9-5, and increase the priz3 pool so every team in the tourney will get a cut , but prize amount escalating based on placement...that would promote teams being more serious even at the bottom of the league

Bottom teams already get the income of a normal 9-5 some of them are on less than 50k. Also you can’t introduce salary caps because orgs just sign them to a “content creator” salary as well, so there’s ways around salary caps.

"Every team in the tourney gets a cut." Yikes. Pretty horrible idea. I'm all for lowering the base salary, and increasing the prize pools. But to give every team part of the prize pool is silly. And doesn't "promote teams being more serious." Participation trophies are never a good idea.

Even if they bring the remastered COD favorites, if it is going to be cross platform and infested by cheaters, the game will continue to die. Maybe keep the game in console and eliminate cross platform capability. Keep the PC gamers with their cheat codes stay in their own bubble and keep the console gamers in their own bubble.

Haven't played cod in a few weeks so figured I'd jump on to play my first ranked match. I get matched up against plats on a streak, and one of my teammates left after a few minutes even though me and another teammate were double positive and we were winning 😭 Of course we ended up losing and I got off as soon as the match ended.

CDL needs an overhaul - If you have an audience, you can play pro. The idea that you can focus on creating great teams etc and building from youth etc is not possible as it's not a commercially sustainable sport. THE TEAM NEED TO HIRE CONTENT CREATORS ONLY, at least until the TEAMS ARE profitable from sponsors, clicks and merch.

Hot Take, but what if part of the problem with BO6 outside of the Poor Servers, Poor Map designs and the Cheater situation is the OmniMovent system? Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed Omnimovement, but what if it's actually lowering the skill gap? Making insane movement and play easier for someone who is a lower skilled player. So gun fights are more 50/50 because now the lower skilled play can do something crazy with the movement to even the odds where they may not have been able to in past games? Just a thought, don't Roast me too Hard.

HEAR ME OUT. Pred gets dropped. Falcons have 1-2 open roster spots, they come to pred after major 1 and ask him to join the team. Pred says he need to figure out his gambling stuff first before coming back. They say no problem and pay off all his debt. Then Pred is a free agent in the offseason and has the ability to join optic in next years cod.

Bo6 is dog. Usually grind ranked for majority of the game but this year even ranked as a mode itself needs massive amount of work. Maps are awful. Can't turn cross play off to reduce the amount of hackers. 90% of the time it's a HP game mode. Veto Maps makes you end up playing skyline or vault constantly. Played vault HP 5 times in a row the other night to the point where I didn't want to play any more incase it ended up being 6 games in a row 😂 Literally the only good thing this year is the movement is a bit smoother but as a whole if I had the choice if playing BO6 ranked or MW3 ranked, I'd be on the MW3 grind all day long again.

@iilagz had that happen a couple of times, and when someone drop out of the game early you have to play the whole match 3v4 where as mw3 it would cancel the game and no sr or streak would be lost. It's only little things but it's a lot of little things that's made the game so shit.
