Thank you!! This is what a lot of us are saying and not letting the media or KZbin fans dictate the realism of the club, this isn’t city or Chelsea.. off the back of our best goal scoring season no one predicted 22 individual injuries, numerous questionable decisions on the field and a massive drop of form due to lack of consistency but people just wanna have their 5 minutes of fame instead of looking at the overall picture.

Es we scored more than anyone but there where games we drew that could have won us the title if we had a striker city won the league with aguero and as soon as he left they got Halland. Liverpool had fermino we need a striker that can finish the chances we create when the games a tight or we get one clear chance we need someone clinical.

Victor Osimhem is there to be picked. He's a guaranteed 25 - 30 goals contribution. He's scored 12 already in Galatasaray this season even with little injuries. The risk with him is very minimal. He scores and creates well. He's always the chief presser where Odegaard can take a rest for that. Victor Osimhem is very ok and gettable

This idea that Mikel Arteta can’t be held accountable for anything. The fact remains that he had ample opportunities to sign a forward player(s) the last two years and he didn’t. I’ll also never get this idea that only pundits can only dictate which managers get sacked and which ones don’t. It’s only ever topic when content creators do it. @@HaalandFCTV I assume you mean short sighted? First of all there is no such thing as a completely risk free signing. But Gyokeres is in my opinion a far less risk than sesko. You used his goal stats at Coventry to help your argument but for me that just says he has experience in a tough English league and scored a goal every 3 games for a struggling side! And has since improved and gone on to show he can score consistently and at the top level!

Imagine the amount of problems they'd had if they didn't bring in Merino and Calafiori... Yes, striker is needed, but a perspective should be that the team has managed to be on #2 place throughout the season all while having a ton of injuries to crucial players, and a good amount of nonsensical decisions from refs. They're probably even better than last season, but Salah's exceptional and unrealistical season is the driver of this 6 (9) point difference, now it remains to be seen if he will manage to do it for the whole season or not. If he manages to do it full year, he will get to Messi/CR7 numbers from their best years, and it's close to impossible to compete with that unless you have a "Salah of your own", which you will surely not buy in January.

Guys you mean well but the fact is that Arsenal have been making poor decisions on the transfer market for a while now. We have know the need for a second option for Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli and Havertz/Jesus for a while now. Jesus is injured without fail every year for at least half a season and Havertz was bought as a Xhaka/No 8 replacement. We keep going for that "perfect" striker but hesitate on the less that finished article e.g. Isak and Guimaraes available before Newcastle bought them. Gyokeres release clause last year summer for 80 mn Euros and instead we buy another injury prone left back (Califiori), and yet another number 8 (Merino) who have not been pulling up tree for us. Now Isak is too expensive, and we are still hoping for Sesko or Vlahovic. In the meantime City just bought Marmoush who is a lethal finisher, Osimhen is on loan at Galatasary and Randal Muani just signed on loan for Juventus. The fact is that there are players available but the owners are just sitting on their hands because they don't want another Pepe. That is not ambition!

Acquiring Harvetz was all shades of a bad decision. He's not being a failure, but he's part of the reason that front is not balanced. We should have bought a proper striker. The money spent on him could have gotten us a lot more with little more. Arsenal won't buy anyone this January.

The windows have been where we collapsed, but don't forget we are 2nd somehow, had terrible luck and really difficult fixtures. You all are making some sense but fail to account for the fact that Arsenal is in this position because over the years they have failed to plan for the forward position. City are signing players, West Ham is bidding for J Duran and we keep giving Arteta excuses for his negligence. City invests in a winger every season just to keep the attacking options fresh and open. If you have not signed a big-name attacker, why can't we fill does positions in with young prospects like we did when we signed Tomiyasu, Odegaard, Martinelli, and Lokonga? We decided to do nothing and hoped we would remain competitive in the position without bringing in anyone to challenge the existing order. In 5 years we only added Leo, Marquinhos and Gabby J as attacking options (Kai was signed for midfield). How does that even make sense?

We need a big personality to be the arsenal number 9. The weight of that position is immense. Last good one we had was auba in his prime. The rest were all average at best, lacazette awful, nketiah awful, havertz 😢 , we need a big personality someone thats going to just be ice cold with all the pressure. Id spend the money on osimehn or gykores . I dont see anyone else with personality to cope with the pressure. Fans have huge hopes for whoever walks through the door. Arsenal isn't signing anyone. Its time we accept that we've returned to the bare minimum club mentalility. In the summer Arteta faliled. He sold all the attacking backups we had in the squad and didn;t replace a single one of them bar a late desperate move for a player so far past his prime. He spent all his money on defence and we're actually worse at defending this season.

This is the weirdest analysis ive seen for a while. 1) your lack knowledge of European football is quite worry. There are so many players around Europe that would improve are squad instantly. 2) the main reason for that is because we have 4 attacking players fit. they are all absolutely woeful at the moment and none of you could honestly say we dont need reinforcements of.
