It is good to hear these antiquated professors, and they bring great knowledge to the table to avoid future mistakes. Vikasit Bharat 2047 will need more out of the box thinking, that comes from a better understanding of our Vedic roots, rather than colonized history!

These two are different. One is academician and other is defence analysist. The former deals with policy matters which need skills of teaching history, whereas the latter needs story telling ability as well as making the presentation more interactive. If RV like personality presents defence/international matters its very difficult to make the people sit for presentation and vice versa applies with later.

USA and India are very differently organized. USA has 51 constitutions - 1 by each state and 1 for the Union. India however just has one constitution - it’s only at the central government level.

States is principally divisive , as it was based on language
@sumanthm6293 күн бұрын
Prof RV, what about a state having a 'language' flag, in order to side step the Constitution prohibiting a state from having a flag of its own. With linguistic basis for most states, each state can have its flag through its language. Nobody prevents a language or state from being venerated by its people but should it be through jingoism, attacking other states or its people or language. The rowdies who want to enforce their language or its prominence, mostly have never read its literature and cannot read or write their own language correctly. The same rowdies and their masters also collect enormous amounts by enforcing respect for language or state, through threats, coercion or blackmail. Respect for a language is also enforced through the relative size of languages in signboards. If this is the political discourse, supported by a rowdy network, not to mention enormous money raised and passions whipped up by jingoist media - can we move away from the current organization of States ? Vested interest stand to lose and hence will oppose tooth and nail.
@ramakrishnasulebele18753 күн бұрын
very true and well said ,after linguistic state formation ,devolpmemt of language has slowed down and its ownership has gone into the hands of people and leaders who no nothing about it and its literature ,and culture ,and it is another money making field ,in all the south indian languages ,including marathi

The other aspects can be commented on by eminent erudite Prof RV, all that i hope for is that Tamil language gets squeezed (gently erased) in quiet subtle manner.. so that Hindi can be imposed all over India. It should replace all mother tongues and become universal. Another thing.. sir, coastal states have a tremendous economic advantage in comparison to inland hinterland states. Adds atleast 3-4% to their GDP. (Exception - Bengal.. bad governance ). Sea freight is much cheaper than land freight and trade adds huge advantage to coastal states.. 🙏

UP cannot be left so big that it would be the 4th largest nation on Earth. Compare with the 50 states of US which has a QUARTER of BHARAT's population. By this criteria BHARAT should have 200 states. The states of BHARAT need to be broken into smaller units, but statehood should only be granted when viksit state of development has been achieved on the way to VIKSIT BHARAT by 2047. It is also time to have a proper FEDERAL Rajya Sabha, elected by the states assemblies, with ALL states having EQUAL representation regardless of population, so the larger states do not dominate. Just like SUPERPOWER US. Also, in a Rajya Sabha of 100 states with 2 members from EACH state, why not mandate a man and woman from each state? A 50/50 partnership of both genders (NOT 92 as in the confused West)?

Potti Sriramulu death is perfect reflection how caste dominates in andhra pradesh. Politicians and people of AP killed the elite personality who doesn't have any personal interests in his fast up to death. Castism is so high in AP that people looks at the caste of victim before they responded as well as their economic interests and this type of castism led to his death. As per many both dominant political castes given a wrong feedback to JLN and kept him in dark until day of death. Even a section of people only responded after his death. No need of remarking about how AP peoples sees theit economic intetests even in the matters related to the state. Most prople have perceived thay bifurcation of state will appreciate their land holdings and it is no denying fact that major loser in AP bifurcation are common people of AP.

Yeah,we already have enough mla,mp,mayors,VAO's,councilors,municipalities,to manage each state.The issue is not that,it is blunt corruption and freebies due to electoral politics.If you create more states,it will lead to more CM's,officials,more wastage of public money.And,the more states you make,it creates problems between state as demographically,each state will have different castes,religion,language.Just think how many peaceful cm's you would have,and the state of other communities in those states.The hard truth is India is finished,the system is rotten,now we have come too far to change anything.The only chance we had to make india super power was after partition.

Make each district into a state, with only a governor elected by the people, without any district assembly - ruling the district. Additionally each district sends one MP to the national parliament. The only one body of lawmakers for the whole country. Then a Presidential form of government at the center as well. And some form of term limit as well for governors and the elected President.
