I'll take them!!! Just had to cull a bunch that turned out to be roosters and I'm down in numbers atm.

We do the same thing! I have to remind myself, I don’t have 50 chickens, I have 25 hens when we incubate 😭

Most of us feast on the unborn fetuses of chicks on a regular basis, so perhaps there should be some kind of moral dilemma in keeping one as a pet. Honestly though, unless they outlaw bacon at some point, I'm not gonna stop eating those tasty little liquid fluffballs.

Who is “most of us”? Tons of homesteaders/backyard chicken keepers etc don’t keep roosters in with their hens. I certainly don’t always have a rooster in with my hens. I don’t eat embryos of any sort.
