The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health have recommended that children should be weighed every year between the ages of two and eighteen, to prevent a looming obesity time bomb. With 1 in 3 children being overweight by the time they leave primary school, is the solution to have regular weigh-ins at school? Weight loss expert Steve Miller says yes, whilst mum of three Rachel Halliwell thinks this approach could damage a child’s mental health.
