The best way to Love an enemy is to warn them that this isn't sounding like it's going in the right direction which is unsafe. And so we should both stop and the descalate. That's the sensible thing. The loving thing. Doing good thing for both of you.

Paul said, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18)." The key is "as far as it depends on you." If we can "live at peace" with others based on our actions, then do so. But, if the actions of others are not peaceful toward us, we are allowed to meet their level of aggression to thwart the threat to our lives, loved ones, and our property.

Since Jesus Christ is a King, this makes Him a political Leader. In America, We, the People, are the Leaders of our government and the government is our servants and must obey the American citizens according to the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Constitution is the highest law of the land. The majority of the ideas in the U.S.Constitution came from the Holy Bible.

Read NA 1:2-3 “The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies. The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.” ‭‭Nahum‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Paul saying something similar but God is God and we are only humans. The laws of war were given to the Jews to establish their kingdom and God would reign but the people wanted a human king just like the surrounding nations! The laws of war was given they would act when God tells them, directly or through the prophets, exactly what to do. God did not give everyone the freedom to choose when they can fight. We can’t drag God to our wars!!

Not all of us are law enforcement yet we live in right to carry states (I live in Tennessee)… I carry to protect myself, my wife and those around me from grievous bodily harm or death, which under the law here is grounds for using deadly force… I believe I am well within my rights as a believer to self protection AND protecting others as myself should the need arise…

"Is Jesus a pacifist?" For those who think He is, does this look like a pacifist to you? Revelation 19 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. THIS is the Jesus I worship and love, because THIS is the Jesus of the Bible. People who portray Jesus as a pacifist hippie who walked around patting babies on the head and telling everyone to "be nice" to each other are going to have quite the shock when He returns. Exodus 15:3 “The LORD is a warrior; The LORD is His name.
