Fair criticism. I would note that Candace views feminism as perhaps the greatest threat to our civilization and that she doesn't agree with everything Kanye did in the past. It's also fair to point to some bias in favor of Kanye based on being a personal friend. While Kanye has been critical of feminism and its major sacrament of ab*rtion, TS has become the world's biggest public advocate for feminism and ab*rtion. One of these celebs is likely to lead people to question progressive politics, while another is bringing in many new converts to the Church. of Woke.

Look Taylor is not the only artist in history to sing about their love life. Alot of artists do that. And you know what? nobody has to like Taylor swift, it's totally fine that they don't. But where I struggle sometimes with these people, is that they talk so much about family values and obsess about Taylor's dating history, where's this heat for Trump? Dude had multiple affairs and divorces. As much as I can agree on some things there is a level of inconsistancy. I think the problem is that they wish they had someone like Taylor Swift on their side. I think the difference with Taylor Swift and other artists who sing breakup/love songs is the manner she does it and how much of her discography consists of it, especially the former. The manner in which she does it, is just in general toxic. It's what I'd call naming and shaming. Take All Too Well, a song based on a three-month relationship she had with Jake Gyllenhaal in 2010. When she did the 10-minute version, 11 years later, she made an entire short-film portraying him as angry, obsessive man still obsessed with her all these years later (they haven't spoken since they broke up). Or Joe Jonas, who she dated for two-months a DECADE AND HALF AGO. Still pissed about their break-up, she decided to befriend his estranged wife, when they were going through a messy child custody battle in order to spite him. Or what about John Mayer, whom she went on a handful of casual dates with in 2009 and 2010, before he called it off? She proceeded to write a total of SIX songs about him, and is still namedropping him in songs all these years later. I could go on and on. I honestly find it funny how Swift complains about how the media is fixated on her personal life and "slut shames" her. But in reality she cannot process her emotions properly, even at age 34, and writes music targeting her exes, while her echo-chamber of toxic fans drown out any underlying thoughts questioning whether or not this is healthy. This has become her brand. Music about how every guy she has ever been with has screwed her over one way or another is Taylor Swift. Naming and shaming is Taylor Swift. That is why Taylor Swift is different from every other musician who writes love/break up songs. Anyway, in a year or so, expect an album about Travis and how much he screwed up.

Yes, they definitely should. They’re alienating a huge fan base. As a lifetime Conservative, I cringe every single time I hear other Conservatives going after Taylor, most recently Candace Owens. She keeps going after Taylor, and I don’t understand it. I could never ever vote for that brain dead idiot in the White House, and I’ll never understand why someone as smart as Taylor voted for him. But her political beliefs belong to her. Everyone is entitled to their own, and I wish we could and would all respect those boundaries. I don’t like to discuss politics with anyone. In my experience, unless you agree wholeheartedly with everything the other person says, it rarely ends well. But I’m almost old enough to be Taylor’s mom, and I wish Conservatives would stop talking about her. Why alienate her entire fan base unnecessarily? Look up “Bigger Than The Whole Sky” from her Midnights album… from the beginning, actually… “The Best Day” is from one of her original albums and is such a great song about a mother/daughter relationship.
