Thank you for talking about this, It's not a comfortable topic and it doesn't exactly rake in the views. But we need to talk about it. Pray for me that I have the strength to explore this topic and for it to be something that doesn't crush me because I find it so heavy.

This is about money it's cheaper to tell people to die than help cure heal and relieve pain and disease. I met some people that went to the U.S. to get treatment and survived and healed

Exactly! Since they have socialized Healthcare in Canada, the government has the power to both be the arbiter and of the law and their Healthcare decisions. They want to minimize their expenses, so offering anyone with an illness that requires expensive care relatively inexpensive assisted suicide is simply more economical than providing that expensive care!

the whole medical system is going down hill here also in The US. I've spent months trying to get help for my many medical problems. It's like there waiting for me to die.

I think if it’s for people that will not get better then sure. If it’s a terminal illness then fine. But not for people with mental illness that I don’t agree with.

We see how the disabled are treated in America: many of the disabled are ending up homeless. Their government has them living in poverty, homelessness, despair and society and even family and friends look down on them. It's as if they are no longer considered human beings. It is my opinion that soon America as well as the UK will start the MAID program as a means to get rid of these poor souls. This is a very sinister situation.

(if not a legit racket)… organ harvest of mentally challenged people means pristine organs compared to physically ill persons eligible for MAID. Just sayin’…

What I find to be equally disturbing is the fact that not one of our politicians in the UK or US have called out Trudeau on this. What that tells me is: they are on board with this and would have no problem implementing this.

I pray that these poor people will know Jesus Christ who said “ I AM the way, the truth & the life and no one comes to God but through Me” There is no no other name that man can be saved but by Jesus who paid for our sins on the cross, died was buried for 3 days and bodily rose again according and prophesied in the Holy Scriptures. Believe on Lord Jesus Christ and you will not perish but have everlasting life with Him from the moment you believe and receive the Holy Spirit and in Heaven. As a person born with a birth defect who has had many challenges, the mental strength it takes to even get out of bed some days is exhausting and I firmly believe that once you’ve decided you don’t want to suffer anymore, that should be your choice alone. Being given the facts and the choices you have in front of you is imperative but at the end of the day choosing to die should be a personal choice that isn’t looked down upon

I've felt the crushing hopelessness that comes with depression, I've had 2 depressive illnesses which sound like major depression, but I can't say it's that because that would be self-diagnosis. People bandy about the idea of hopelessness, but most of them have never felt true hopelessness. It's the worst feeling in the world. It's a major reason why depression is such a hellish mental illness to have. I don't think you can overstate how miserable it is to have.

In order to be medically euthanized in Europe, there's at least a year of treatment. I have several disorders that come with suicide ideation and I see that as a relief valve when the agony is unbearable. I have always said that I will never harm myself; however, until you spent a lifetime actively, and sometimes frantically, searching for alternatives, like the FDA approved Fisher Wallace at home ECT, medical euthanasia, with a backup plan, because the USA hospitals don't contact YOUR PSYCHIATRIST AND MAKE DANGEROUS AND HORRIFIC DECISIONS ABOUT YOUR LIFE WHEN THEY HAVE NEVER MET YOU NOR KNOW FOR SURE THE DRUGS AND THINGS THEY'RE DOING TO YOU AREN'T GOING TO SEND YOU DEEPER INTO HELL. THEY DON'T CARE BECAUSE THEY DON'T PAY THE CONSEQUENCES. CHA-CHING. I asked my San Diego psych if he would be my emergency contact and he agreed :-). When I asked him why they don't check your MyChart or do something since the patient often not able to clearly articulate at that time. I'm listening to this while I'm trying to write and I sure wish I was a live with them because platitudes and things they think --- that they've never experienced ---. Two things if my insurance would cover it is the ketamine treatment because I'm a child of the '70s and I always said LSD was my drug of choice and now I understand why. Recently, they've come out with a new prescription that is cough medicine and Wellbutrin but formulated in a way you can't do at home that is helping some people. Not treating mental illness with the same diligence you would treat someone with broken legs or cancer is a crime. But the bulk of these psychiatrists are just running you through the mill making it worse. Sorry I don't even know where I am right now in this because I'm so irritated with the caliber of the people talking about something they have not experienced. You can call 988 all you want but look at the climbing suicide statistics. The United States put oxygen in the helium tanks because if done right, and with no oxygen in the tank, it is considered a viable option for successful right to die believers.

This mental suffering will be eliminated through Christ Jesus only. Because Jesus was our substitute, and was made sin in our behalf . He passed through great emotional and physical suffering for us. He took our nature of sin and gave us his righteous nature. So we are responsible for to live this free gift righteous life. Yes, and it’s not just believing that Jesus is God, even the demons believe that in shutter, you really have to turn from your old life, renounce it, and turn to Jesus to lead your life through repentance and the daily renewing of your mind with scripture and prayer. When you actually do the things that the Bible says the devil loses the foothold over your life. A way to expedite the process is through fellowship with other believers where you get discipleship and Deliverance in prayer. Even the Lord‘s prayer is a deliverance prayer and Jesus went from tiny synagogue to tiny synagogue casting out demons. Even Peter‘s mother-in-law had a spirit of infirmity cast out of her. People are not yet getting all the benefits of being a believer, but Jesus did it all on the cross and as Isaiah 53 says by his stripes we are healed that’s more than spiritually, we are commanded to lay hands on the sick and pray them well. Read the word. Start in the gospels but don’t stop there. So many people are not even mentally ill, but rather spiritually confused. Joel two talks about visions and dreams and prophecy poured out on all flesh. Could you imagine how terrifying and confusing and scary the things of God are without Jesus as your savior? To realize you’re a dead man walking, of course the devil wants them to be killed before they can get saved or set free enough to help save others.

To sum up 1 Theselionians 6:10-20 this battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, and demonic rulers of this dark world, therefore put on that helmet of salvation to protect the mind and use the Word of God as it is the sword of truth. Don’t forget righteousness will be like a protection over your heart and truth will protect the most vulnerable part of you, your very core, and when you don’t know which direction to go walk in peace remembering to pray as this battle is spiritual!
