Its so heartbreaking to see dogs in the state the owner thinks is ok. I started as a volunteer at the r.s.p.c.a in Australia. Its so hard to seperate your emotions from your job I wish inspectors could do more 🤬

It really blows our minds how some people are oblivious to the neglect, or just don't care! What do you get to do as a volunteer with the RSPCA? That must be very rewarding.

Its not just whether someone is able to feed the dog, water the dog, and walk the dog, but also whether they are able to love the dog and I think that old man checks every single box on that list.

Poor Tyson. I get the owner is taking care of something at his mum’s but he’s also responsible for Tyson. This poor sweet dog deserves to be cared for and treated well, food, water, clean environment, basic needs. Tyson is obviously not getting basic daily needs and the is unacceptable. He’s needs to be taken by RSPCA and given vet care and compassion and care. This poor, precious soul. My heart goes out to Tyson.

Why do the RSPCA not have more power or authority over the situations with some of these cases. The state of some of these dogs is absolutely criminal. I just don’t understand.. blessings to all the folks at the RSPCA, these individuals are so amazing and remarkable! I have the utmost respect for these individuals. ❤️😘🤟

Owner should be Arrested and Sued to pay for dogs care

Get real. There are different circumstances. A dog may be removed because the human is frail and cannot cope. Or deliberately neglected; time for the courts and significant fine one hopes or real jail time for cruelty. Or as we saw a reunion with some support for man and dog.

Theo and his owner are so sweet. I'm so glad they didn't take his dog away just because his fur. Grooming is very expensive and that man clearly loves his dog so much. I'm beyond happy they offered him help, he was so relieved when Theo came back and was willing to learn how to help maintain his friends coat by himself. They clearly both love each other very much, what a wonderful outcome ❤❤❤

Some prosecutions with serious penalties for the these abusive dog owners -- highly publicized -- would definitely spell out the obligations of a dog owner ... prevent future abuse/negligence cases.

RSPCA inspectors should be allowed to have more power. Some people have mental issues and dont have the capacity to care for themselves let alone a dog.

When I was volunteering I was training with someone; call neglected dog to be removed. The apartment was tidy and many toys but the owner had cancer and didn't know how to say good bye to her companion and couldn't take him outside. We kept in touch once he was adopted and she was so relieved. She thought it best not to see him again before she passed away in hospice because she didn't want to cause him distress. A good person.

Tyson shouldn’t be kept outside, it’s too hot for him. Hes a husky type of dog wirh a double coat. Even when we are wearing a light coat, the temperature ,especially in the sun, is too hot for that kind of dog. Thats why he was so lethargic. And not wanting to jump up and see who’s at the wall.

Theo was not matted in need of a bath a shave no i have a shnorgy that needs almost no grooming a nail trim and a bath 3 times a year
