IMO, Matthew, Mufasa looks way better than the 2019 Lion King remake, given the environments seem more lively, the color grading and cinematography looks more properly lit, the animals can express proper emotions this time, and the unexpected X factor of Lin Manuel Miranda doing the original songs for the movie, too. Looks like Barry Jenkins is gonna make a breakout hit of this movie that shouldn’t be underestimated.

The Jungle Book is the only live action Disney movie that I’ve really loved. The others are ok or good but really enjoyed The Jungle Book.
