@ 4:47, it is mentioned that the liquidity is taken from the bottom. There can clearly be a case made for liquidity taken from the topside as well and construct a downside setup. The price also reacts to fvgs towards downside after grabbing the liquidity from topside. The only thing that will prevent one from focusing on that setups is if they have bullish bias for the day. Otherwise it's hard to ignore that.

Let's just sit down and imagine somehow you learned how to read “who has the control of the market”. And you are willing to share the knowledge on KZbin. I must be reallllyyyy lucky to have this video sent to me. And you can read who is in control just by reading raw candle sticks. Just stupidly amazing. And on the 5 minute chart.

At 5:58 time I see different I see a failure swing low form and a MITIGATION BLOCK form on last up close candle before failed swing low. That's were price rejected from. The MITIGATION BLOCK that formed from aggressive reprising bullish is what actually validated the fvg entry to go long. People who got in short at the top of failed low were under water when price energetically reversed bullish so when price got back there the shorter under water water to mitigate their position and get out of trade which triggers buy orders.
@stillnyc7770
@stillnyc7770 Жыл бұрын
If you know the order of the PD arrays you know that from a swing low or a swing high ( failure swing) the OB will form before the FVG and before the OB form you have the Rejection block which you can treat as a OB if you want a deep discount going long you will enter on a OB before the FVG sometime you won’t get the FVG till you get the Shift in market structure and for a deeper discount going long you will enter on the Rejection Block it’s a more aggressive move

That's right.Two players..The banks and the Algorithm. Liquidity is taken care of by the Algorithm to rebalance price where there is displacement creating imbalances or price efficiency. It usually happens by a spike of a wick,the Algorithm takes out internal Liquidity then reverses the price,while doing so,an imbalance is formed when market structure shifts and trend changes direction..Immediately the high created by the Algorithm is strong and respected..Hence the imbalance created will be your entry..Use Fib to estimate entry point.
@garrybest3534
@garrybest3534 Жыл бұрын
I'm more aggressive and go in as quickly as possible on that "Spike of a wick" (Liquidity Grab) with a stop 3 handles above in case it fools me and goes even higher. So far, high win rate, and a better ratio = 4/1, 5/1, or more.

Can you clarify why then we didn't assume that algo's were in control when we can clearly see a reaction to the FVG before the move up/failure to break high and then dip down into order block . We first react off the FVG from 9am so wouldn't we assume algo's are in control? I'm sure I'm missing something :) Thanks in advance.
@simulationfx
@simulationfx Жыл бұрын
I think you are talking about example 2 if so then price reacts from an order block (by my definition) and so for me it would count. I can see why you think its a FVG reaction and tbh that is a fair assessment, but after that move we can see price fills a FVG but that doesn't lead to a higher high and so when price comes into the order block left behind we can understand that the institutions are in control here rather than the market algo. Great question!

curious why youre anchoring your bullish orderblocks to green candles. most confusing thing about this subject is the huge variety of ways people are using them. is it because the green candle youre anchoring to is part of a red candle in a higher timeframe or what?
@tyler4964
@tyler4964 Жыл бұрын
and bearish order blocks to red candles. . is that something he covered in paid mentorship? last video i just watched, dude was showing breakers and refering them to standard orderblocks saying the requirement of the order block is that a short term low is broken followed by break of short term high, basically a breaker i guess.. there doesnt seem to be any order to this theory. After watching almost every video on ICTs channel, i think he could be helpful by spending more time going into very detailed specifics of all these terms and how to apply them and whats ok to alter from the standard. mining gold aint easy. lotsa sifting
@simulationfx
@simulationfx Жыл бұрын
Good question. I do it for two reasons. The first being the fact that sometimes order blocks get missed. So by picking the candles the way I do, i ensure that happens less frequently, although I still get missed sometimes. The second reason is because for example in a sell trade a red candle will have a green candle inside it on a lower timeframe so it doesn’t really matter which color candle i pick. As long as either, there is the opposite color on a lower timeframe and/or i cover the ICT order block with my SL. Ive found that marking my order blocks like this work best for me. 👍

OB's forme is look at open and 50% of the entire move itself. not specifically a candle. cant trust a single candle which is nothing more than time and price. not a all defining thing.

It’s quite incredible how much success one stands to attain with professional assistance in the trading market. I’ve been on a long profit run and steady cash inflow earning almost thrice my old salary thanks to the assistance of my portfolio manager Melvin Don Fisher

You're kind of close but you're missing a bunch of important information. It's unfortunate that people are making videos about trading strategies that are wholly incomplete. My only guess is that you simply don't know.

You are doing a video telling people about order blocks and FVG's and You don't even mark off the first OB properly! And You are selling courses! 😂😂😂 People do not buy this guys course he is obviously another KZbinr who hasn't a clue what he is doing. You was supposed to mark the wick area that broke the low of the previous candle on the first mark off You done which would of been a valid order block on a lower timeframe and You marked off the buy candle before. 😂😂😂😂

@@Samw8484 I agree, they may not be correct, but for the strategies that I trade they work perfectly well. Also, when marking the ICT OB sometimes your broker wont tap you in due to spread and you get missed. This way, I have reduced my chances of being missed and increased them for getting into the trade. What you are saying is 100% correct , I am not denying that. Nor have I said the way I mark my OBs are the correct way. Check previous comments, I always admit this. Its just my way :)
