I don’t understand how you got the roughly 5k of tax savings. If 25k was taken as a distribution then the MAXIMUM benefit is the full 15.3% of SE savings on the 25k of distribution, which is a total of roughly $3800 of se savings. (In reality it will be even less bc of qbi etc..)
