This is how I wanted to feel a few months ago when I started seeing the signs on the wall. My ex husband showed a lot of disinterest in the relationship and I was really going to let them go if the wanted. unfortunately I was too curious to know what really happened and if there was something that could be fix in there. He was a gentleman and I trusted but he showed strong signs of infidelity and it made uncertain unwanted most of the time, i wanted to know. My friend told me it was possibe to find out everything without risks through phone spying. she introduced me to a guy " Binaryreap3r @ gmial com " who helped me spy on my ex's phone until I found out he was having a same-sex affair all along. I still let him go but I did that knowing I am totally perfect, I just stopped hurting.

After 7 months of going through the grieving process and healing, working on my PIES with dedication I have now realized how much work I needed to do years ago. I know I took my wife for granted, that I disrespected her, and as you said I want nothing more than to change those behaviors from the past. Today is today and I finally know what unconditional love really means. That I don't love her because of fears but because I love her from my heart. I haven't given up despite external advise as you mentioned because I loved her then when we met and I love her now at a much deeper level. I am not ready to give up on us after 23 yrs. We are a beautiful couple and I know deep inside a small spark is all it takes to win the fight. Until then it's understanding, acknowledgement of the hurt I caused her, and unconditional love, commitment, and I am here still standing.

I'm reading and have been growing so much in my understanding of how God designed us to do relationship, from the book: How To Stop The Pain by Dr. James Richardson. It is so helpful. Very instructive and it's helping me change. Me. Forget about the other person, they are truly not my problem, even though they do things that hurt. We all do. I've been married for 16 years and in a weeks time would be 17 years. We have been together for 24 years. 2 months ago I found out my wife was involved in an affair for about 2 years already and she moved out with my daughters to move in with the other man who himself is also married but going through a divorce. Yeah…. Should’ve given up, still pending divorce and lost custody after being a single parent for a year because I had a job. Sadly this stuff does work and speaks true. And there are some people, even loved ones, who have nothing good in their hearts.

Hope. Faith. Is all I have for my marriage. My husband is telling me to wait he will come home when he's ready. I don't know how to take it. But I wait patiently. Even tho it's defiling at times. I’m in the same position. After 26 years he left without any discussion and it’s been 8 months since my Counsellor advised divorce. He’s been cheating for years and I was blind to it as all I did was work and work some more to keep our dream alive and for our children and our family. I don’t want to give up but can’t hold onto hope if there isn’t any. It has shattered me.

When there is abuse including emotional and physical abuse you need to walk away and not tolerate that. Boundaries and self respect are paramount. Working on a marriage is fine but putting up with any type of abuse is not.

@Dillards Shopper no there was no infidelity. And he ain't seeing anyone. It was more of control issues. I always wanted things my way. Plus I think I listen alot to people whose advices threw me off the cliff. My actions towards small differences hurt him. He is a cool composed guy but heck he too is human. So I think they pilled up, until he couldn't take it no more. During the time of my drama he was composed and still loved me. So after he couldn't take it any more he was like 'I've given up on relationships'. Even now as I plan to move out he is concern of where I'll be going to stay. He is still caring but he says he has given up completely on relationships and doesn't see himself going back😭. I've learnt my mistakes and I wanna appreciate him more. He is so broken

I completely agree. There is always hope. People can change. The problems that led to wanting the divorce aren’t insurmountable. With communication, patience, and compassion there is nothing that can stand in the way of two people who fight for each other. But it takes two. It takes commitment for change, awareness and empathy to understand that change even needs to happen. At what point do you change so much for the other person, sacrifice, and fight before you realize your partner wouldn’t do the same for you? After the decade you spent with them, they’re willing to let it all just fade into the void? At some point, I suppose the question would be if either party is using divorce as an escape to circumvent the work and struggle of maintaining a healthy relationship- and do you want to be with someone who would do that?

My wife and I have been separated for nearly 2yrs. In Dec. of 2023 she filed for divorce. I really didn’t act on it but I guess I hadn’t hit rock bottom until about 6wks ago. God placed His hand on me and a light was switched on! I’m gonna fight for my wife even if she has checked out. My vows were real and I meant every word. Thank you so much for this video. I'm married almost 37 yrs & learned of my husband's infidelity (4x) beginning with our 3rd anniversary. The deception & betrayal, not to mention stealing 34 yrs of my life, has me doubting everything he says. I'm not sure if I will ever forgive him, & I KNOW I will never forget what he's done. I'm not sure this answers the question, should I stay or should I go! This more gives the case for fighting for it. This is a black and white decesion with a lot of gray variables. I've stayed because I am concerned to what he will do to himself or others when I leave. But I am more of a parent then I am a wife and partner. We have been to marriage concealing every year, nothing changes.
