Hey Stormblessed, as a Qiyana otp-ish I think you played well, I would highly recommend getting comfortable with prowlers as it increases your damage output considerably if you can learn how to combo fast with it, (Hint - Prowlers then E cancels the animation so you can get ur dmg off fast, it also creates neat angles which otherwise are impossible) Not sure if you do already but I recommend to look up "Beifang Qiyana" videos and you will learn ALOT! trust me. I'm confidant you'll be able to climb if you can polish up the ultis and rotate your elements a bit better. Overall Neace does have the right idea about roaming, it's how you create a lead for yourself. Granted I only peaked diamond 3 so I'm not the best but best of luck to you. Qiyana is one of my favorite champs but she takes a good amount of games before combos are smooth like butter. A lot of Qiyana's I see think they can't learn how to prowlers cause it feels awkward, and it is at first, but once you practice it you will notice the kill potential increases drastically. Edit - After doing some research I do see that beifang is opting for Eclipse over Prowlers in a lot more of his games, this could be due to the durability patch and late game scaling, but I still think the rule is a lot of bruisers = Eclipse , Prowlers if most are squishy.

Well the highly mechanical champs are balanced around them being high skill, so the non-proficient people bring the win rate down. A good irelia can have a 55-60% wr on her, but the noobs playing her bring her wr down to 45% every patch.

Riot balances them with the wrong mentality too. For example (this comes from a riot worker btw) Zed has always had a high pick rate and supports didn't. Therefore they wanted to buff supports to make them more fun to play, so more people would pick sup role = less Queue time. Zed when he's bad into the meta, they won't buff him. Because his pick rate stays high. It has also to do with the ban rates. When Zed is decent he'll be perma banned because people hate to lane vs zed in low elo. So maybe zed isn't the best example but you get my point. This was explained by blaustoise (I don't know how his name is spelled, you'll find him quickly). The conversation was about zed specifically with LL Stylish in season 8 when Zed was absolutely terrible, about the same situation now. So the high skill champs usually have a high pick rate = bad balancing. So you have to be a LOT better than your opponent to win. Especially now. League is balanced for bad players, being good doesn't get rewarded as it should be. There are like a 100 things that prove this BS.

This lesson was pretty good man. Make prio and take lp, very true. Use that prio and go kill someone 2v1 like top or join jungle 1v1. And in lower elo enemy mid will never ever drop minions to help his jung or match your roam. Do that couple times and you win so easy, low elo gets tilted too easy like that. I would probably be mid main just abusing this one strat if i had patience for mid lane half hour que times.

Bro this is 100% how I play mid... in my mind, mid is global support. The lane is pretty irrelevant because most games become aram as soon as someone loses lane... so I just play around baron and jungle and use my time to make openings for them as much as possible... if I lose lane of enemy jungle camps me then its whatever... but whenever I get to play at my pace... im just clearing the wave as soon as I can and roaming... if my jungle isn't near dragon lane then I go and fake gank just to keep the enemy jungle busy responding to me... but time is the most important resource on this game... if I'm not eating, then I'm gonna make sure someone on my team is... and baron lane is such an island, that in soloQ you'll be surprised how much it matters you roam to your solo laner. They will go out their way to assist you the rest of the game... its like a fatherless child getting a hug for the first time... fed mid and fed baron... only a noob jungle can lose this game now ;)

I literally got more value as a sion support camping others lanes right at six because I let them see me lvl 6 leave and legit just sat mid waiting for viegar to walk up and none of the other lanes walked up either. We ended up hard winning because my adc got uncontested farm and solo xp and mid died early to our alkali then I went and ulted too after pushing bot

Its when your opponent is busy last hitting under his tower. Combine that with the waves being right outside your base still far away, you can go to starbucks order some uber eats, train to be an astronaut and comeback to lane and still be able to catch that same wave w/o losing any cs

Most likely considering his r combo was a tad slow so adding the mechanic side of using prowlers and not to could be another reason as to why one should probably go eclipse. Also most lethality builds either want haste or sustain in most assassins and prowlers is more for getting kills and mobility in which isn’t really rewarded during this patch where it’s harder to find kills going lethal or assassins in general

I get that neace is right but he is so condescending. Its like he doesn't believe his students are allowed to ask questions when they dont understand something. he responds as if confusion is a challenge to his authority when clearly this guy has no mal intent. I watch these videos cause there is good info sometimes, but neace should really work on articulating his thoughts and actually TEACHING rather than getting pissed at his students when they dont know something. Your job is to explain things and you shouldn't get mad when they question you. You should explain WHY so they actually learn something.

Yeah that isn't true bud. The hard part about Qiyana is proper cursor movement and the speed of your combos, as you play better players you get super punished for everything if you aren't squeaky clean. All of her R prowler combos and turret dive combos are pretty difficult as well, and you'll need to know them versus better players. Not even just because of speed, but because you need to end up in the right position at the end of your combo or you int your 900g shutdown to kassadin.

I had to play 100 games to get a grip of her combos , and 200 games to be actually comfortable with most matchups. for the comparison , I had to play 20 katarina games to get comfortable and understand how to get fed with her. She is high skill. You have to play her to understand. reducing her skill to EQ autoaim shows that you know nothing of the champ. you peaked bronze 2 , stop lying to people XD
