Should I Move To Monaco?

There are a few reasons why people move to Monaco and also a few why people don't. Reasons For Monaco are for example: Tax Haven, Luxury Real Estate (as Investment), Safe Place, Perfectly Situated for Business, Culture, Sport, Health and Climate (The winters are mild and sunny, whilst the summers are glorious and hot). And last but not least the French Riviera. Not naming the reasons against Monaco since the title is Should I move. Since you are a car guy and Monaco hosts the Formula 1 ... etc. Monaco is definitely a good place with all the Supercars around.

TragicVibes Except it does! its a limited edition car and the last car on that chassis platform (except the spider and other lt veriants such as the HS) they will take a shit when the 720s first releases then go back up in value. look at the previous limited edition mclarens they almost always go up in value. The 720s may initially go up when it releases as supply wont keep up with demand it never does on these sort of cars but after that its 90% likely they will hold sticker value or depreciate

Cars like that are also a investment almost like shares in a company and you need to wait for the right time to buy and sell. It makes sense to keep the lt while driving the 720s and wait for the market to level or for the car to go back up in value than selling it now and getting less for it. It also means for more video opertunitys so more content for us more money for james in the long run.

+TragicVibes it's your opinion and you clearly don't know the market. The 675 is a limited ed car and they have climbed up in value, if anything. The 720 is bound to go down a few months after the first examples hit the roads because it isn't a limited ed car. What's true for the 675 will also be true for the track version of the 720 but 720 will go down. It doesn't mean shit if he's getting the 720. They are two different cars and James has sold (or selling) his F12, GT3. He has two extra spaces and it is fine.

Di Bo - If I remember correctly, you can only spend 90 days per year outside of Monaco to take advantage of the tax benefits. Sounds like a lot, just over a week every month. But it isn't a lot if you want to constantly travel. Also have to think if that's worth your time given how much the rent on a half decent apartment is, can end up you're not saving much in the end unless you're earning at least £1,000,000 per annum. I'd absolutely move there in a heartbeat though.

Plus we must promote and grow the motoring scene here not diminish it... *In winter tho, I agree, the weather warrants temporary move to a milder climate for the 4-5 wet months, personally I prefer the Caribbean as Europe is not that different in winter. Besides, why not get a second home in the south of France if you are going to spend that much time there - I know the feeling and attraction, it just feels like you're always on holiday there... **Or you could always invest in the LBMB "London Boys' Monaco Base" or "KZbin house" like you said...

Move to Monaco? - if it's a possibility then do it, why not - as a great man once said - 'It's always better to regret the things you have done than the things you haven't' - but if it's not possible then nice idea all the same! Yes, you are not alone to be shocked @mrjww Last time I was there (Only days after you posted this video). I was living in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, and a 12-15minute ride with a taxi from Monaco beach area to Cap Martin, was also 55 euros. I only took taxi 2 times, cheaper to drive my GT-R in the end.

James, why not keep the 675 for now, drive the 720 for a few weeks and see if it "floats your boat", if it does sell the 675, if not flip the 720 (if that doesn't put you in McLarens' bad books), with a years production all sold out you will make a nice profit on the deal. But not enough for the Monaco pad.

Another great video. About the Monaco thing, do whatever you thing is better. I mean, it is better than London, but is the cost of moving there worth it? It has everything about supercars, so the content will be great im sure of it, and by the looks of it you seem to enjoy your time there much more than Britain. Another plus is that Monaco is full of car events, rally, F1, supercar meetings etc. Other youtubers go to monaco a lot, so you will still be able to collaborate with them. I think you should do it, only if you can afford the cost of it while still being able to do what you like, like buying new cars (Carrera GT :P) and traveling a lot like you do now. In the end its your decision, and im sure everyone here will be with ya whatever you do. About the 675LT, i think that buying a 720s was great and im sure i would buy it the second i had the money, but buying it first hand you will see the value dropping like crazy, and I think you will want to trade it for the future LT version of it. If i was at your place, i think i would enjoy it for a while, 2-3 months, the sell it while the value is still really high, keep the LT and because you are in such a good relationship with McLaren the second you learn about the 720LT you order it and sell the 675LT. At least thats the best thing you can do for the money. If you can afford the drop in price of the 720S, enjoy the hell out of it, and trade it with something else whenever you want. My opinions, in things I dont know as well as you do (with my Opel Astra 1.6 :P) so dont take em too seriously.
