you should have done the shuttle fleet turn 1 on round 3. that got you the influence to ship AND the following turn, fleet triggers to gets you sword master money. using diplomacy was a bit greedy but I mean that's hindsight for ya ;). Side note, I also had a crazy game where the first sword master was take on round 6!

Brilliant finish again. I don't know how you manage to hold your nerve and not go for the two point combat but instead count all the points that you're going to get and know that all you need is to beat Leto in points + spice.

Thanks! It's less that I was holding my nerve, and more that I was afraid there was a high chance if I used my Intrigue that I'd end up losing the Conflict anyway and be down a Victory Point as a result. It was a tough call!
