Should I Put Some of My Retirement Funds Into an Annuity?

Really need some information on the parameters for an eligible designated beneficiary-should they inherit a 20 year certain annuity in a ROTH IRA. Do the IRS rules require all payments to the beneficiary to stop at their life expectancy- or does the payment go on for 20 years provided the original owner dies at year one-of annuitization REGARDLESS of their life expectancy. ie how long can the EBD take the payments.
