This video made me really go put and just throw my midranges to lock in my form. My midranges came out wobbly and I had to dial it in and once I started throwing well I was throwing my midrangesqoth better form just as far as my drivers with bad form

If it was just a number then beginners throwing 13 speed drivers would throw them fine.....they just might go less far...but thats not the case. In aerodynamics every equation is a matched set. It takes a certain amount of airspeed to keep the X-15 in the air as compared to the Cub. So each wing is only optimized for a certain set of conditions etc.

Guys, I LOVE you're videos and they have all been great to watch. The short format is awesome when I don't have time to listen to a whole podcast. As for Simon's throwing I think the only thing that was missed was the space it takes to throw a putter 400 feet. I had the honor of watching Simon at Masters Cup at DeLa where he throws a P2 on the Fridge (hole 12?), the only reason he can throw it is the HUGE space on the left side and no ceiling issues so a turnover with a putter is possible. I think having enough room to use a putter can sometimes make the difference on a long hole.

I think you guys need to realize when you say I don’t throw a 11 speed full but for a lot of people a wraith is their destroyer and that’s their disc to get birdie looks on max distance throws on 330-350 foot holes
@jacksonpalmer89552 жыл бұрын
The point they're making is speed of the disc doesn't equate to the speed the disc MUST be thrown at which also does not equate to your own relative level of power. They're saying "I don't necessarily have to throw a distance driver as hard as I can because 'distance driver' does not mean full power, it means minimum drag and reasonable technique/power, likewise a putter can be thrown harder than the 2-speed marking because 2-speed is a minimum if you can limit off-axis torque enough"

4:34 And why is your deputy going further? Because of the NUMBERS! There is more numbers than just the speed number. Do people just stop reading after the first number :D (Deputy and marshal are almost identical though. Their turn and fade are just a tiny bit different)

@@Ora_ If flights numbers were accurate than they’d change from run to run and plastic to plastic.

@@YashaKoman The flight numbers are important. However they can easily mislead. The first number, speed, is the power requirement to achieve the next 3 numbers. That is when thrown flat. So they are guideline, but they are nothing to live and die by
