I’d love to see a LIV League that’s played primarily in the Southern Hemisphere during US wintertime. There could be prospects in that league that could rise to the top end get a chance to play on the actual league. Just an idea.

Anthony Kim getting signed to a team would be shocking to me. He undoubtedly improved during the season, but it will still take a few years to be a solid pick for a team if he keeps improving like he has been.

Nobody in the Showdown understood how to play in the desert in the evening. Once the sun starts to go down, it gets dewy and slippery on the course. Iron shots slide up the face and don't spin, you lose distance and control of everything

Rory and Scotty adapted pretty well. Bryson couldn't make a putt to save his life. Bottom line is the LIV guys were out classed. That's coming from a big LIV fan, and a bigger fan of Bryson...and I can't stand Rory.

@@Oahugolfguy Whatever you want to call it they got out played. Rory and Scotty's ball striking was far superior and ended up with much better approach shots. Then they followed up with better putting. I would expect as much, Scheffler is by far the best player in the game, and Rory is legitimately number three. Rory might choke in majors, but he's hard to beat.

@@vertstang123 Scottie and Rory have both made great strides with putting. And Rory has corrected some approach woes. Also They both have played recently so they are sharp. Meanwhile Brooks and Bryson are completely on full blown offseason mode as most players are right now. But Bryson is a top 5 player this season imo. Brooks not so much. But they are both top 10 talents year in and year out imo. These events like the Ryder cup need to find a way for everyone to be sharp and on form and rust free or no one to be on form. This happens too much.

Su-ann and Jerry should be the main broadcast team. They have better chemistry and energy compared to the 3 man booth. I feel the broadcast team is a little dry compared to the LIV product and they should have a team that matches LIV better.

The Showdown was occasionally entertaining but overall very disappointing. You want to see the players battling each other and the course NOT the elements. Dec in Vegas for such an event is stupid.
