I’ve seen so many people with bad foot injuries being a foot specialist and it gets worse and worse because they keep ignoring it so I’m soTRAUMATIZED that if I feel anything wrong in my foot I completely stop all activity before it gets worse and the next day I’m 100%! Seeing others suffer for years has made me become more aware of my body and I hope people do the same 🙏😁

Just went through a couple bad injuries myself recently that took me out of training for about 6 weeks combined. The important thing is to allow for a full recovery before you train using those body parts again, & when you get back to it, start slow so you don’t risk re-injuring yourself again. Great topic for a video Vince, this could help a lot of people across many different areas! 👍

@@Oggiesilverfitness Thanks for checking in on me Oggie! I’ve been getting back to the gym for a week or two now, & am finally able to do more full workouts the past couple days as I feel I’m ready to push a bit more again. I probably have 4-6 weeks of work ahead of me between exercising consistently & getting my nutrition dialed in to shed a few spare pounds while regaining some lost lean muscle mass (thanks to the magic of muscle memory). Thankfully my next video should be done in the next few days, and the one after that is filmed already, so I have some time to get more presentable to be in front of the camera again. Haha! 🎥🏋️‍♀️

when im recovering from injuries from working out or running, I don't train through it just because I find it hinders the recovery process. I alter my routine and work around it so I can get better more quickly!!

It all depends on what the injury is. I would take it easy.

I run or at least keep moving through most of running injuries, no sure if that woukd apply for martial arts

I have an injured neck issue and waited a week (while having the bjj bug) went back Tuesday and session went well, went back thursday and I got the same neck injury again. :/ Frustrated because I want to roll and learn so badly.
