If you edit while being in penutbutter and you go to your right it may be even better than jump peaking because your oponent will think that you will do the jump peak and you will have smaller croshair which is equal to more damage because you are on the ground + your opponent may try to pre fire on you and in that situation he will not be able to shoot you back which will give you health advantage and then (because you have health advantage and you have a wall you can jump into his box and kill him) at least that's what I do.It may be bad for pc players but I do this most of the time because it feels better and it is easier on console (Only my opinion😅)

Im so used to confirm edit on release that even without out it I still edit like I have it on. Its not hard to hit players for me, but I just like practicing my flicks. Highly recommend this setting if you're looking to edit fast, and even when I have it on, I still hit my confirm button! 😂

Yes but I find that the delay between you pulling your shotgun out and then being able to shoot it gives you time to recenter your weapon with the person either way. If you are slow at recentering only then do I think it’s worth the change in my opinion.

I don’t use confirm edit on release as a controller player on 60 fps with 30 ping. Im faster than I was with it on and way more consistent. My peaks got better too. The first few days I lowkey wanted to switch back but I’m glad I didn’t. Im used to it now and I’d say it was a good investment.

I use this setting on and I hit all my peaks that I take. It is mostly people’s preferences since they could have really good aim so they don’t need to see the opponent or some people just like to basically confirm where they are shooting.

Or you do the double edit reset = wall and then edit up your cone, reset cone and boom headshot. I'm not saying that confirm edit isn't good, but edit on release takes away an extra button press that is just very exhausting for your hands in the long run but everyone has their own preferences these days and some people do fine even with edit on release 🤷🏻‍♂️

Any edit where you open it already being able to look at the enemy is not optimal anyway because they will shoot you quicker if you are behind a right hand then u can just fix your crosshair placement after the edit

The way you show it is like you can instant use your shotgun after an edit, you need to wait half a second till you can even shoot, so you edit and then focus your shotgun on the guy till you can shoot the shotty

Alright I just switched to PC from console and have been using edit on release on, I’m seeing big advantages and disadvantages. So I’ll be turning it off as I do want to get better at piece control and box fighting.
