Kyle is joined by Iain and Kyran to discuss their feelings surrounding Rangers right now after Sunday's Old Firm defeat and whether the club have to focus fully on long term progression. They discuss Kris Boyd's comments after Rangers' Old Firm defeat on Sky Sports, Rangers defensive concerns, whether we are seeing improvement under Philippe Clement, where the blame lies for Rangers fortunes and whether new players like Hamza Igamane and Nedim Bajrami can make the difference for Rangers.

While I agree Cerny could have reacted better to the Barron pass, the pass itself is poor. Barron should be aiming to protect Cerny from the defender by passing to the outside shoulder. Instead he plays it inside allowing Taylor the chance to charge in. Outside shoulder, Taylor has to back off or go through the body of Cerny.

Or even ball over the top turns the defender

@@robs2126 yes, those options are preferable. The one pass he had to avoid was the one he played. Perhaps he did try outside shoulder and just poorly executed it.

2 of you have said . Tav has been a good servant to the club and should be respected fir what he has done for the club. Sorry what am I missing here ? What has he done for the club? 3 trophies out of a possible 24 over 8 season. I'll be embarrassed taking future generations to ibrox and them pointing to the hall of fame board and explaining why Tav is up there in bold gold lettering along side Wilson Woddle Greig Cooper .......

The high press was 100% a fault from manager .. If you are up against a good team or better class of player you conceed ground, defend deep, hit on the break, with 2-4 extremly fast forward players . You dig in for first 30-40mins & build confidence by winning individual & team battles. The approach of high press is "very high risk" when you are out classed. Its what Celtic have tried (badly )in Europe most years, it only takes one mistake & game over .

@camdenbhoy6192 Agreed. I said that several times, just a few mins into the game.

Said it numerous times to ma pal while watching the game on Sat. We are missing a talisman. We are missing a real character. Someone with arrogance, real confidence, physicality, and ability. We have all played with that one person, on a Sat/Sun that when they showed up in the dressing room, your spirit lifted because you knew that you had a chance. It made you play with confidence and to a higher level. We as a team seem robotic and a play by numbers team we have no flair, no character, no attitude and no fight. It's frightening.

Long term progression is what Ashley was doing ( very well , although i agree he is terrible owner) , you ( fans) wanted the gamble or bust approach of King. Board / players / managers have to share the blame BUT so do Rangers fans !!!

The tactics were shocking on Sunday, high press leaving huge gaps for there attacking players. everytime we gave the ball away or lost possession we were in trouble, look at the cup final game Celtic only created 3 chances we created more, different tactics. The players are not as bad as we are making out. Clement has to get the team selection and tactics right game by game. If he does not he will get sacked as we wll be totally humilated. Tav is only playing because the manager picks him, he is humiiating him, he is done.

Clement is no match for Rodgers. Levels apart and it shows. Clearly.

Clement will last until the end of January. Tactically inept! I don't give a flying Fu*k about the financial gap. We are poorly trained and poorly coached. The basics are not being done. The players obviously don't fancy him. Tav needed to be gone this will be toxic all season, his legs have went.

Feeling the same. Clement snookered the board. He gets a payday if sacked or he’ll be there running his own show either way results not mattering

I predicted that score. I saw it coming and said so only to be verbally abused and banned off rangers channels and called a Celtic fan. J.D who has a red/white/blue RFC badge profile pic is a happy clapping clown who gets people banned for telling their truth and having a different opinion from theirs.
Can Hamza Igamane be Rangers' starting striker?
