Should Saracens be the favourites to win the Premiership?

Saracens are the bookmakers favorites to win the Gallagher Premiership this year but should they be?
Northampton Saints are top of the table and have been the most consistent side all season, plus Bath, Bristol and Harlequins all look dangerous.

Saracens have Sale, Bath and Bristol to play. Whats the odds they don't even make the playoffs?

Akker Van Der Merwe and Ewan Ashman were really the only major departures from Sale last season so not sure where this loss of depth idea has come from. Agustin Creevy and Luke Cowan-Dickie have come in at hooker to replace them. If anything, Sale have great depth but sometimes lack the star quality of other sides, especially in the forwards. Biggest problem this season has been bonus points. Sale have a similar win/loss record to other teams in the top 4 but the lack of bonus points has cut them adrift.

No. Saints have been head and shoulders above everyone else all season. Saracens’ biggest issue is lack of pace in the backs, especially the back 3. That being said, in a final, with the amount of experience in the Saracens team…

They should be favourites........Unless a Saffa team is suddenly inserted into the Prem..
