This is a tough call. If they trade Romo and then Prescott gets injured, they would have nobody. But if they wait next season to possibly trade Romo, his value goes down dramactically. (Instead of being 36 with a good reputation as an elite QB and recent experience, he would be 37 with no play for an entire year.) If it were up to me I would keep both, at least for this season. Romo is a great insurance policy to have.

At first I thought trading Dez was bad, but the attitude is definitely different and you can't say that you haven't noticed watching them on TV. They have been a much better team. Now we can get value for Romo as well. There is still a bench player named Mark Sanchez who is much younger and can be a pretty solid backup. Trade them both.

the best trade would be Romo and Dez for Demaryus Thomas. Idk if that would work out cap wise but it would give the Broncos a better QB who already has chemistry with a WR and it'd give the Cowboys an unselfish veteran WR

I agree with Sharpe. Trade Romo and Bryant to build the Defense in Free Agency. Draft a playmaker Wide out in the 1st round of the draft to replace Dez. Then draft another WR with the draft pick you get for Dez. That should be all the offensive fire power you need and you've improved the defense with some of the Best players available in FA.

They are not done , but Romo has to be at the right team to play a season or at least 10 games more like San Antonio approach Popovich certain games sit or pull cause of age and health, Dez is still great and still a prime time receiver for 3 years or better, but getting younger and getting a balance on defense is much more intriguing. Gotta have a quality defense to win the championship games.
