The United States has in the past dropped pamphlets and given warnings to civilians in areas that we were going to drop a bomb in. Israel actually does the same thing now. But there were no warnings given to Hiroshima or Nagasaki, that's one of the reasons that stood out. It was very out of the ordinary. One of the biggest concerns that led to the decision to drop the bombs when it came to Japan in WW2 was there was no distinction between military and civilians. It was very different from what we had in the U.S. Just trying to provide a little context! Love the show and appreciate you guys!!

Love your guys podcasts, they are such a blast(: I guess the only thing I don't appreciate is the fact you went to see Oppenheimer because of the explicit content. I think it would be good if you guys would precheck some of the things you guys either say or go and do just because there is a younger audience watching these videos; we have to both be intentional and very aware of what we're saying and doing. I know this is a super old podcast, but I just started watching y'all and I'm catching up lol BUT, I had to comment on the UFOs that split into multiples because I've seen this before. When I was a kid, me, my sister and our friend were outside star gazing and saw this thing that looked like a star going across the sky, and it split into like three or four and then went back together and it did that multiple times before disappearing. It's something I've never forgotten nor been able to find an explanation for.

For reference, coming from an active member of the ASW (anti-submarine warfare) world, the underwater vessel traveling at thousands of knots per hour, is more than likely an underwater contact that could be mechanical or organic, that was measured incorrectly. Underwater speed is measured by Doppler calculations (think about measuring the speed of a train based on the noise alone), sometimes systems do this automatically and they can come back with the wrong calculations and you see that there is a contact traveling at such high speeds that truly isn’t. It’s just a bad read. Break. The amount of force needed to travel at those speeds is not something we have discovered yet because most subs have a hard time breaking the 30 knot threshold.

Andy you should learn more about world war II. It is absolutely fascinating. One of my favorite documentary series is called world war weird. Just an example pilots from the Allies to the Nazis have claimed to see UFOs. Another example the British captured a Nazi submarine and they swore that they saw a sea monster. One of the officers even claim to have measurements of a creature.
