Should The Leafs Call Up Matt Murray? 🤔

Give Hildeby a bit more rope and if he cannot provide decent and consistent goaltending, Murray would be the logical next call up. As for Murray going on waivers he has already cleared this season so he would not need waivers again until after game number 19. That's 10 games played as an emergency call up, then 9 games played as a regular call up. I believe I have those numbers correct but in any event after already clearing waivers Murray can be used for a number of games without exposing him to waivers again.

Might be just 10 games or 30 days for Murray to be up without clearing waivers, not 100% on that. But ya, give Hildeby the experience

I don't mind Matt Murray - his basic fundamentals are very good and he's got a lot of experience

I haven't seen Hildeby fall apart that losing a game was on him. Give him some NHL experience, it is still early
