SHOULD THEY ADD ECHO BOSSES AND DROPS? - Flomple Thoughts

Mod Arcane explicitly said that some echo boss variants (when speaking about KQ) were very literally, "If people like this, maybe they'll end up in the main game". Which I think is a good strategy. Some of these boss fights are great.

I would like to see an "echo" mode to every boss, who drop the echo weapons, BUT the echo weapons are only useable on echo bosses. The bosses, to me, are a no brainer. its content that is fun. Some people arent gonna be able to play some of the bosses if it was from regions they didnt pick. it should be added. The weapons are a bit crazy, and the rings obviously are way to strong for main game, but if they could be used against the bosses it would be a fun callback to the league.

weapons aren't that crazy, they all become useless once you get a raid mega rare

I think of all the drops, the Devil's Element is the most reasonable to actually be in the game. Maybe make it a combination of all the elemental tomes (plus a probable air tome in the future) and it'd be golden. The effect is useful but niche, and is still worse than the Shadow at 90% of content

How is devils element over powered when it still gets out dps'd by the shadow? Honestly the first item id pick to add to the game to help balance out magic.

yea that and drygore are basically the only ones I could see coming in, the rest tend to be too OP and would destroy the metas

Honestly i think treating Leagues as a testing ground and implementing possibly integrating content from it to the main game afterwards is a very good idea. Maybe not copy-pasting it but at least working with the concepts such as the echo bosses, kinda like the awakened bosses. Also the items are so cool, with balance adjustments it would be amazing to have in main.

@@PhilTruthborne its the perfect way to test like 9 new bosses and 15 new items/effects/weapons etc. Then find a way to get the best 2-3 items into the game after leagues

Adding a token to cg rewards that lets you fight echo boss (to skip prep) would be such nice QOL to main game for the bowfa grind

i would love it if red prison had more emphasis on the armor if something like crystal blessing was added to the main game

Sunlight spear, crystal blessing, and devils elements need to be added to the game. NGL I like the amulet of monarchs and the emperor's ring. They would be extremely strong, thing is we can add in harder content that focuses less on 8 way gear switches and more on weapon switches and boss mechanics. With their emphasis on weapon weaknesses I think it could be cool to have a boss where it's highly beneficial to have all stab, crush, slash as well as different ranged attack ammo and possibly some mechanic where sbs is viable utilizing different spells. That way we're filling our inventory with ways to deal with different mechanics rather than just to maximize DPS.

Echo variants of the bosses themselves should 100% be added as options to fight maingame. For the "no changes!" players that are worried good pvmers will make more gp, don't even change the drop tables just give us more fun ways of doing the bosses. For items i would love so so so much if they added sunlight spear. Super fun echo item. i think a lot of the echo items with a rebalance could be added in one way or another

@@reverb2516 theres gotta be a good way they can do it! Tied to combat tasks? Tied to clue completions? Example, if you have 300 mediums done, you can now stack up to 10 mediums. (For example, and just throwing random numbers)

Leagues is the only content that the devs get to make without polling and it shows that they do some great work if the player base would just trust them

Honestly if they added Echo KQ it'd be so nice, please god just replace normal KQ. The fact the 'empowered' 'harder-variant' of KQ was 3x as easy as the current main game one is just insane.

If the Crystal Bless brought Salad Blade inline with Inq Mace, that'd be cool and not too game breaking. It would also make the CG grind longer for irons, which is important.

some of the echo drops are of course way too strong for the main game. giving melee the crystal bonus for instance would just destroy all other gear choice it working for saeldor would be nice but with sythe and all it's just too strong. and I don't think making it so the bonus for melee is different to one for range is a good solution
