It's called "Chat GPT". I was confused when Rob said "Chat GTP". I guess it might be a mistake.

Chatbots are sophisticated, and the answers they write are coherent, which makes us think what we are reading is authoritative. However, it may not be that way, so we must be on guard. We ask chatbots just to provoke it, and the answers it gives us make it sound sentient.

Thank you for the intriguing video. I believe that the presence of ChatGPT, hailed as one of the most triumphant Chatbots, serves as a testament to the limited refinement of our cogitation and discourse, contrary to our presumptions. Typically, we merely anticipate subsequent words in a sequential fashion, drawing upon our past encounters. It is asserted that machines merely appear to retort to our inquiries, yet I remain uncertain whether human cogency and comprehension have surpassed the contemporary capacities of deep learning-based AI.

Thanks for explaining this topic. From my perspectives, I have not been a good experience with chatbots Even they could not replace to humans because when I wanted to find out something , they could not and it cause irate due to abscence of appropiate answers . We must be on guarda which could be the next groundbreakings respect to it. Thanks

Sometimes we should fear in my opinion. I think they can manipulate humans in conversations. They can be harmful. Chatbots are much developed maybe in the future they won't be manipulating which is good. Chatbots are everywhere. Chatbots are in many websites. I don't use chatbots often but i used to talk to them a lot when i was a child. The best developed chatbots to me is Replika. They have their traits and own interests. Thanks BBC🙌

Watching this video made me think of Matrix film. Who knows what machines Will be able to do in the future as they can do everything faster than humans. I Hope machines Will behave with fairness, simphaty and LOVE, although human beings many times behave in the opposite way.

Who has this kind of question like me? 4:47 Rob mentioned the name of Neil unreasonably, is there any fun implication here? It is true, is that Rob and Neil are not friends, they are just colleagues or co-workers at work instead? However, I may be wrong!!!

No worries about Chat GPT would replace human. It definitely can't. I believe AI can assist humans in many fields and we need them like in manufacturing, but in my personal experience, I use it for learning English, like the professor in the video said, you have to know how to ask your question, and it's lame at organizing and remembering, it is unable answer my grammar questions. For example, I asked Chat GPT why[ I was ] can't get abbreviation[ I's ]? It can't do it's work, it's answer is messy.😅

Thanks BBC My summary while listening Most of us have interacted with a chatbot. These are bits of computer technology that respond to text with text or to our voice. Chatbots have become more sophisticated, advanced, and complex but could they replace real human interactions altogether? According to Professor Emily M Bender, we tend to react to grammatical, fluent, coherent seeming text as authoritative, reliable, and valuable and we need to be on guard about that because what's coming out of ChatGPT is none of that. The fact is chatbots just predict one word after another based on what they've learned. Besides, the kinds of answers you get depend on what kinds of questions you put in. When people start asking questions like how do you feel, you know, chatbot? what do you think of this? what are your goals? You can provoke chatbots to say things that sound like a sentient being would say.

I'm using it to study English precisely and it's quite good, it might not be perfect, though. The advance of technology is providing us with another tool so why don't take the most of it? Anyway, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop coming to the academy and getting knowledge from books. My total support to all teachers around the world. I would never change the human interaction for any app or chat box or whatever!!!

Yeah, my job is similar to copywriting jobs, and 2 months ago I was so scared, I was depressed and in a great of fear for my future.. And, like it's always happen in life, my job after that moment has been flourishing, I've never had more job than in a last 2 months.. I think that chatgpt cannot replace any job in which a human intelligence, and especially human SOUL and sophisticated way of thinikg, are included..

In my personal view ,chatgpt is not coherent,as it does not think equally with human's brain,so we must believe in ourselves rather than other chatbots like that.I am definitely sure we musn't fear it,It is just bot, like my comment
