My dad is most appreciative of this video. He intends to present it to my step-mother to support his argument that purchasing even more vintage guitars is actually fiscally responsible.

I know you're more on the vintage side of things, but here's a shot in the dark: A few years ago my health and financial situation changed which led me to selling a 2003 Gretsch Black Falcon with a Chet Atkins-style tremolo arm/whammy bar and a Bigsby tailpiece. I still have the serial number from my house insurance policy records. I know you said Gretsches are you and your husbands' specialty, so if ever one comes through his shop or passed your eyes I beg you to reach out. I've been searching for it for nearly five years now. Love the video. Love your channel.

As an industry professional, vintage guitars are a terrible investment. If you know what you're doing of course you can make money, but most people will never have the time or inclination to learn how to play this market safely. It is so much easier (and safer) to just put money in a market etf and let it cook.
@Nofrillsasmr22 күн бұрын
@@TheBarroomHero321 yes, for sure you definitely need to know what your doing, but I disagree that it’s a terrible investment - vintage guitars can be a great investment. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Edit to say: But you’re correct vintage guitars need proper storage and maintenance, but you get the enjoyment of owning a piece of history.
