These video teachings are amazing. This is one that I sought out because my regular pastor spoke on the adulteress woman today. It was a good teaching, and didn’t contradict this, but it also didn’t answer to the questions that I had regarding following Torah today. I’ve watched so many of your videos, thinking that eventually something won’t “fit”. But it always does. Excellent job.

He never changes and neither does His Word. We must remember to "apply His Laws Biblically." (keeping all things in the proper context...Context is applicable. No country/government on earth today could "employ the true Biblical structure & process necessary to carry out Biblical Commandments of capital punishment... If anyone actually practiced the Biblical capital punishment Commandments today, they would actually be breaking the Commandments of YHWH, not following them." I would have said that the capital punishment commandments show what we as sinners deserve. How many of us have disobeyed and dishonored our parents or even cursed them. According to the law of God we rightly deserve death. But we follow the savior's example when He said I do not come to condemn the world but to save it. The woman caught in the act of adultery rightly deserved to be stoned to death. But Jesus in saying "he who has not sinned cast the first stone" shows us that none of us are worthy to sit in the seat of judgment. This is also why he says "Do not resist an evil man. If he strikes you on the cheek, turn to him the other also." When we show mercy, we emulate God's character who does not punish us as we ought. And remember that certain things were written in the law because their hearts were hard, like divorce, or owning and beating slaves. The law was evidence of how stony-hearted the children of Israel were and their sinful condition. People actually had to be told not to put a stumbling block in front of the blind. This says more about their human condition. God calls for a circumcised heart on which He can write His laws on and if we show mercy, then mercy will be shown to us.

@@markgoodley2450 If you don’t believe Jesus is the messiah but still believe in the Hebrew Scriptures than your entire religion falls apart with a single prophecy that Jesus fulfilled and had to be fulfilled by the messiah. In Malachi it explicitly says that the messiah will enter into the second temple, which was destroyed 40 years after Jesus death. The logical conclusion from this passage is that the second temple still had to be around when the messiah came in order for this prophecy to be fulfilled. So if your waiting for some messiah that isn’t Jesus then you are out of luck because he isn’t coming. Jesus perfectly fulfills all the Old Testament prophecy’s for the messiah and again, to deny that is pure ignorance and shows you haven’t read the prophets basically at all it seems

There is one very important thing I realized again today (for the umpteenth time) from all the comments; no matter how much we discuss the Scriptures (or any other subject), not one single individual's perception will be changed. Instead of reasoning with any presented material, we just "dig in our heels" and stick to what we already believe, be that right or wrong or irrelevant. Generally speaking, human heart seems to be made of stone, but human mind is made of even harder substance. Above it all though, our EGO never lets us even consider the possibility that we might be in error. Most of us know not the meaning of the word HUMILITY. There are about 1200 so called "Christian" denominations in North America, and each one believes that they alone know the TRUTH. Recently, I asked one "clergy" person this question: If Jesus came back this moment, which denomination would He endorse? "Good question", he said... I think I know the answer each one of us would readily offer; THE ONE I ENDORSE.

True, @@redstamp4185, but there is still a big difference between studying and understanding. I know numerous people who have been studying Bible scriptures for decades, yet have no understanding of the messages within the scriptures. These people live in their own "religious La-La Land", based mostly on their WISHFUL THINKING. Take, for example, the "prosperity gospels" preached in churches. Need I say more? Most kind regards, and best wishes for your personal and professional prosperity
@annturi58264 жыл бұрын
Hello What can I say @Song bird, there are probably as many different interpretations of Bible stories as there are human beings; and we like to "cherry pick' passages and utterances that please our personal wishful thinking, rather then to look more deeply into the "marrow" of the matter. Interestingly enough, I have not yet heard (or read) of anyone trying to explain the story about the "snake of Eden" (in Genesis) for example, even though none of us has ever encountered a TALKING SNAKE. Even if we take that story "symbolically" or "metaphorically" , it still makes no sense for many a good reason. But if, for example, one understands that the "snake of Eden" is an RNA (1 "snake"), which is a DNA (2 "snakes intertwining) decoder, one gets a completely different understanding of the Scriptures, and their purpose. Some of us still take ALL Bible stories literally, in which case these stories make no sense whatsoever, simply because they either (on the surface) tell infantile "bed stories" or they contradict themselves. Studying the BIBLE from a proper perspective is crucial, otherwise, we cannot fully understand what GOD the CREATOR means to communicate to us. The most damaging result of IMPROPER UNDERSTANDING is BLAME, which leads to all kinds of intolerance and animosity among people. Another unbelievable misinterpretation is "speaking in tongues" mention in the New Testament, which somehow was understood to mean rolling on the floor and uttering gibberish, thus turning a piece of useful information into a strictly pagan ritual. Also, no-one so far is even attempting to explain WHY Jesus said that He was sent ONLY to the "lost sheep of Israel" (Mathew 15:24), and why He told his disciples NOT to go to the Gentiles, which is absolutely essential for understanding of all the rest of the Bible messages. Some are afraid to discuss this subject, because they think "racially", which cannot be farther from the truth. Anyway, forgive my passion please; sometimes I become a real motor-mouth when talking about Bible Scriptures, their meaning, applications and implications. To me personally, NOTHING in this life, apart from understanding fully the word of GOD, is worth living for or dying for. Best regards, and best wishes.

"While I consider myself a Christian, I struggle to reconcile the Law of Moses with my understanding of God's nature. Some aspects of this law seem to contradict fundamental human values. For example, deeming individuals with disabilities or physical impairments as unclean, or prescribing harsh punishments for natural bodily functions like menstruation, appears to go against the very essence of human creation. It raises the question: why would a benevolent God create us with certain characteristics and then condemn us for them?"
@119MinistriesАй бұрын
Shalom, Thanks for reaching out. It is important to remember that the Father would never punish us for natural bodily functions that he created our bodies to do. How would that be just? What does occur is that these natural bodily functions, such as a woman's cycle or having intercourse, cause us to be unclean. This is not a sin, nor is it punishable. It just means that we aren't able to go to the temple when we are unclean. So the Father gave us a way to become clean again, usually by bathing, and that evening we are clean. (Leviticus 15). As for those individuals with disabilities, we believe that this teaching will help to clarify this. 119ministries.com/teachings/video-teachings/detail/excluded-from-the-assembly-deuteronomy-231-8/ We hope this helps. @Eyesareseeable Earsarehearable *According to the bible* - the law of Moses is not made for a righteous person. We must be truly righteous before God Almighty to be received into His kingdom. Under the NEW and better covenant, we are made righteous in Christ - by faith. If we are in-Christ, this means we are truly righteous before God - therefore, the law of Moses profits us nothing. According to the bible - The law of Moses is made for the *lawless ones, the ungodly, the profane, the unholy, and the insubordinate.* *According to what has been written* - this is what has been fulfilled: "not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until EVERYTHING is ACCOMPLISHED ” "After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were NOW ACCOMPLISHED, that the Scripture might be fulfilled” - "He said, “It is finished!" Jesus accomplished (fulfilled) this EVERYTHING when He shed His blood, beginning the NEW covenant! *According to King Jesus* - It is finished! The law of Moses was always pointing toward Jesus, our King - our great redeemer! The law of Moses was a schoolmaster, a tutor. "Christ is the end of the Law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4) *According to the bible* - The law of Moses could not make you righteous. This can only come by faith in the LORD Jesus Christ. The works of the law are void to anyone who is in Christ. The law of Moses only provided a temporary covering till Christ. "Christ is the end of the Law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4) The law of Moses was for the children of Israel - who worshipped God Almighty in the flesh. Under the new covenant - you can only worship God Almighty in the spirit. Abraham was never given the law of Moses, as the law of Moses came with a curse. The NEW law revealed to us is the life giving - law of Christ! The law of Christ has no curse. The law of Moses was to bring us to the fullness of God's ultimate plan - "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith" (Galations 3:24) Under the new and better covenant - "faith has come, and we are no longer under the Law of Moses - "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster" (Galations 3:25) *The apostle Paul stated that he was not under the law of Moses.* Paul claimed to under only one law - the law of Christ! Jesus commanded that we must be perfect! How is this possible? This is only possible under the life-giving new covenant through the Spirit. The law of Moses could never bring life or perfect anyone. The life-giving law of Christ brings true life, everlasting water, and pristine perfection.

Your understanding of our obligation to the government in the USA seems to be misguided. The people created the Constitution and the Bill of rights and the Constitution and the Bill of rights created and restricts the government. In the US the people are sovereign and not the government. Obviously, we live in a distortion in the USA of what was originally intended as one can be pulled over and fined for “speeding” when no one or their property was injured. Anything that would be a victimless crime, is not a crime at all. This includes drug prohibition, and any violation of a statute or code that is also victimless. “The government” can not be a victim because it is a fiction of the mind and not man. All that to say, a review of Romans 13 is in order for your organization in light of the reality of a Constitutional Republic with a Bill of Rights. Grace and Peace be unto you.
