Should We Tolerate Evil Opinions? - Robert George on Peter Singer, Abortion, and Seeking Truth

Robert George says we need to defend everyone's right to present reasons and arguments for even the most abhorrent and evil ideas, such as abortion and infanticide. He uses the example of his colleague Peter Singer to illustrate the importance of devotion to truth.

Sad to see Cornel West nodding along to the Robert George's simplistic and misguided representation of Peter Singer. They both should know better.

Wow! Robert George has such a simplistic and misguided understanding of Peter Singer! He must have read the headlines, heard the slurs but not read the text. Singer is a great moral reformer, in the tradition of Bentham. It seems that George either hasn't understood Singer or has misunderstood him. Singer's views aren't evil, they are enlightened.
