Speaking of government, God created heavenly governments to function in perfection and purpose in the beginning. Lucifer set about to subvert it, traffic his falsehood, overthrow the powers that be. Satan has not changed his tactics in the earthly governments that God has ordained. God has not ordained specific people, but the government offices that people occupy, which were given power and purpose by God. Saints today who are saved under the revelation of the mystery given us by Paul, we are to take up and occupy the dominion that Satan and his minions forfeited by their rebellion. Saints today will judge angels in the future, after we have taken up occupation of heavenly place government. Saints will occupy the highest ranks of heavenly office under Christ, followed by Israel and the rest of the earth. In this sense, Saints today SHOULD understand the privilege they have in serving as key choice in who takes up God's ordained offices of power on this earth, imperfect as people are, and imperfectly as people work in them. The idea that voting for the lesser of two evils is such an ignorant and naive idea by Christians, demonstrating we aren't seeing the forest for the trees, and haven't come to understand our own sinfulness and limitations, before cutting up a worldly politician for their specific moral stains. As a person who used to be apolitical when I used to be ignorant of the revelation of the mystery, of Pauline right division, I have come to understand that Saints are not only political, but part of the chiefest political affairs of the universe (in a future glorified sense). We are called AMBASSADORS, are we not?

With all due respect brother, Just because the body of Christ will be serving in the heavenly government after the rapture. That in no way shape or form means that we should be involving ourselves in the affairs of the government of this earthly realm to get a taster of what we will be doing in heaven. Being ambassadors for Christ, sharing the gospel and studying the word rightly divided is all the training we need for that time, to show ourselves as approved unto God as a workman unto him (2 Timothy 2:15). Which will qualify us to work with Christ in his heavenly government when we are called home. It’s entirely up to the individual if they want to vote, and I don’t judge them if they do or don’t. But at the end of the day, it is clear that both election candidates are puppets assigned to carry out a specific agenda. They are liars. This is why the bible tells us to not get ourselves entangled in the affairs of this world, because it is ran on evil (2 Timothy 2:4). So in my opinion, it is wiser to just not vote, because not only may you get something other than what you voted for, but also your vote doesn’t even count anyway because they are all selected ahead of time. If the world is encouraging us to run outside and vote, we should probably do the opposite…..

@@nen9034 You didn't read my comments very closely, and created your own context, "to get a taster of what we will be doing in heaven" We don't have to wait to become Ambassadors, God already called us that. As such, we have a job to do (that is called his will, not our will). I also did not suggest Christians are fulfilling Biblical mandates by voting. I merely said, as ambassadors, as people who will take up government roles after glorified, why are we so critical of people who occupy God's ordained purposes in this earth? The excuse is always that they are evil. Surprise? Paul called this a present evil world. We recruit sinners out of this world by giving them the gospel, and as such, they will advance by the grace of God into heavenly places as well as we. How do Christians believe evil is to be handled in this world until we leave? Speak the gospel and, in all other matters, hands off? The Body of Christ is what prevents the beast system from arising. We are the reason God hasn't poured out vengeance and wrath. And we complain about voting for ordained powers because they are evil?

I read your comment very thoroughly brother you said “Saints will occupy the highest ranks of heavenly office under Christ, followed by Israel and the rest of the earth. IN THIS SENSE, Saints today SHOULD understand the privilege they have in serving as key choice in who takes up God's ordained offices of power”. This implies to me that you’re saying that because this is going to happen in the future for heaven and earth, we should therefore take up the “privilege” in involving ourselves in voting for who takes office presently. Because it’s almost like a taster of what is to come. If they are evil, whether they are lesser or more, we should not be voting for them. Period ! it is not a privilege to have two running candidates that are both liars and are corrupt. Yes, Human government has been instituted by God to have order on this earth, however these leaders, who take up these offices are not. Satan is the ruler over the current system of sinful opposition to God (2 Corinthians 4:4). They are liars, so we can be critical of them in every sense. You are correct in saying that on earth, as ambassadors of the body of Christ, we are also imperfect. But in heaven those who will be functioning in his heavenly government, will be made perfect and presented to him blameless and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:22). We will have no sinfulness like these current leaders do. In heaven there will not be a Voting system as all rulers will be appointed by God based on their reward at the judgement seat. So to make this comparison is just not right. You’re conflating the two to justify why Christians should go out vote. At the end of the day as i said before, this whole election run is a worldly/cilvilian affair, which we should not be entangling ourselves in (2 Timothy 2:4). The bible says that the presence of the body of Christ here on earth is enough to restrain the beast system from rising (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7). Our vocation is to preach and teach the gospel and reprove unfruitful works of darkness through these means. Not handling off the evil through worldly means, such as this.

@@nen9034 Do you pay taxes? Federal, state, local?
@exothermal.sprocket

@@nen9034 Didn't think you'd answer that question. Paying taxes ensures adequate funding of the deepest evils of this Nation (abortion, human trafficking, international money laundering, continued poverty in small business). How do you reconcile Jesus commanding his disciples to pay Roman tax, when Rome was an enemy of Israel from God's perspective? How do you reconcile Paul in Romans 13 commanding subjection to earthly government (as heavenly ambassadors) when just about every earthly government has been inherently evil? How do you reconcile the fact that civil laws DO apply to each of us, we cannot escape civil laws (and their enforcers), and if we have a choice in which laws are made or abolished, we choose a hands-off stance instead? Thinks to think about. There are things with a greater perspective than "vote vs. not vote" when it comes to what the scripture (rightly divided of course) shows us about government.

Why are your comments turned off on your pathetic attempt at saying you know what the Bible teaches on Biblical cosmology when you did nothing but circle reasoning in one verse and referenced what Ruckman said not scripture? Then said it was the work of satan in one breath and said you don’t care what Bible believers think in another breath 🙄 there has been thousands of lost souls come to Christ and believe in His Holy Word because of the a true teachings with this subject and you want to shut it down ? Shame on you

Amen. He has unbelief in his heart regarding this issue. Myself and countless others I know have come to the truth of the KJB rightly divided from finding out "outer space" as we are taught in school is a complete hoax. He reads the Apocrypha with the same unbelieving heart mocking it when it's "unbelievable" like the KJB doesn't have some seemingly "crazy" stuff we believe by faith. I pray that the scales are removed from David's eyes on these issues as I believe he is a man of God that simply has a stronghold deeply rooted here.
