technically its not illegal as it can be used for medical needs, now i have adhd and i find it helps take the edge off my meds which is dex-amphetamin each day,it also stops my mood swings my meds gives me as a side effect which being that i am 6ft 6 and built it really helps by stopping me from loosing my shit when! you can apply for a cancard which is a medical exemption card with photo id which if stopped by the police and then prescent the card they will see that you are a medical user and not take away your weed. of course there is a cryteria too meet ,however alot of the requirments are mental and not physical.

I've smoked ganja in its different forms for almost 35 years and have been a staunch advocate and very outspoken about it for most of that time. The figures speak for themselves. That zero the narrator was talking about isn't just a new thing it's been the same year in year out since I've smoked weed. Every single year that's been and gone since then there has been no deaths directly attributed to cannabis consumption and considering there has been none since then im inclined to say that there never will be. In the UK it is a s--t show for weed and in my area you've gotta be idealy growing it yourself just ensure that you are getting good weed because the street weed is mostly terrible. I swear to ya I was only saying to my girlfriend last week saying to her imagine if a weed smoker from abroad tried the street weed here they would be asking for their money back. It's that bad in areas. The last decent weed I had was orange moonrock and I enjoyed it but that was a while ago. It doesn't come around often out there. That's the thing in the UK with weed cultivation, you can buy the seeds, hold them on you're person even in a public place, have them sent to you in all their strains through the postal services, you can buy the lights and everything else and hold em all at the same time and nothing will be done to you a copper could walk right past while you are giving a speech on how to grow to a crowd of people and they can't do squat, it's when you germinate a seed it becomes the problem. @Graham Moore I have clinical depression and I've tried to kill myself when drunk, never when smoking weed and if it was legalised they wouldn't run into the problems of anyone selling or getting hurt by it because with the gangs they won't be a profit margin, you take away the money they make by legalising it therefore there isn't a point in selling it illegally anymore

It should be legal to grow and smoke your own weed in your own home. Alchohol has caused more problems than weed ever did. Ask the nhs, police, courts, people etc.

Legalize, tax in a similar way to alcohol, plug the deficit, stop young people roaming the streets looking for trouble, provide an alternative to drink that if used moderately pacifies people, make jungle and D&B sound even better, focus policing upon zero tolerance to cocaine and heroin. So what is your argument against legalization?

No it shouldn't. Perhaps as a prescription for it's medicinal use and in no way should using it be a prison sentence. The main arguments for legalisation are medicinal and judicial issues that need solving, but there's no reason to legalise it recreationally that isn't a health infringement. Unbanning it will lead to an idea that it's socially acceptable just like alcohol and smoking. The government is in a unique position where they can both help those who already suffer from addiction and modernise it's legal system. However once they unban it they can't ban it again.
