Amen, our role is humbling . I rejoice and honor God in following his instructions by submitting to my husband so we can receive our reward. One thing I keep in mind is that we must never love our husbands above God. So if the Holy Spirit will ask you to do something that your husband do not agree with, I will do it still. We must learn to SUBMIT to one another in the FEAR OF THE LORD. The example of ANANIAS AND SAPPHIRE (ACTS 5) .

Some feedback given you have posted this for the world to see and influence other couples. Your body language says much more than your words - the Bible is clear but your obedience to the Bible is voluntary and a reflection of your love to God. With time it’s my prayer brother that you will learn to nurture and lead without being ashamed like Jesus and your lovely wife will lay down her guns/excuses to support you and let you lead - don’t let your background influence your limits. It doesn’t come easy but Gods way is the most rewarding way (Ps you don’t need a humanistic book to explain a very clear Bible verse)

The woman has to submit because that's what the WORD says period. If the man isnt being who he is called to be then the wife being a submitted christian unto CHRIST still has to obey the WORD of GOD. This is where denying yourself comes in. Dying to self comes in. Loving your enemy etc. Praying for your spouse. The scripture clearly states what a woman is supposed to do if the man isnt walking according to scripture. 1 Peter 3:1-6 KJV - Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. Thank you for taking the time to comment, we think that discussion is important. As the Word says…”Come let us reason together…”. Maybe we did not illustrate the scenario clearly? Eg. In cases of physical abuse or infidelity, are wives still to submit their husbands?
