My favorite thing about this podcast is that I feel like I have these same exact conversations with friends over the years. Nothing is more frustrating than looking for the perfect porn, never to find it and you just give up and go about your day. Keep rocking on KF!

Tim has lost his mind if he thinks Disney thought Mulan was going to be #1 for Disney this year. The live action movies are hit or miss. They’re more hits when they mimic the cartoons pretty closely (Beauty, Lion King, Aladdin), and fail more so when they try and do something different.

Hey guys I work in a hotel and we recommend people to wear a shirt outside the pool area. It's not a rule but more a courtesy. I agree that the towel around the shoulder to quickly go back to your room is appropriate. If you walk into my lobby shirtless I will definitely ask you to go dress up.

Things might be weird in big cities and things like that but I think theaters will be fine. I literally saw a new release horror film at the drive in like a month ago. People in middle America have no problem going in public, here there’s a festival next weekend with public transport, people were selling out stand up shows in Texas a few weeks ago. COVID will blow over and be a strange year in history. Happens every hundred years. In 99 it’ll just be a date in a textbook.

I know it won't, but I kinda want Disney's plan with Mulan's release to fail. I don't think I could name a single upcoming movie I would pay $50 to watch once ($10 D+ sub plus $40 for the rental [Canada]). Also I read that if you unsubscribe from D+ you lose the movie and have to pay for it again if you ever resub. Also the 'well you pay that much for 3 people to see a movie in the theater anyways' argument doesn't hold up for me. First of all, I don't. I rarely paid more than $8 for a movie. Second, my home theater set up will always pale in comparison to a theater experience so there's no argument there. Disney can afford to not charge an arm and a leg for movie rentals. They're just doing it because they know people will mindlessly pay whatever because they're Disney.

$30 on top of a Disney+ sub is way too much to ask. I wouldn't do the "vote with your wallet" thing if you don't think you'll like Mulan. Black Widow will come out, so just wait it out.

I generally always prefer fries. But Tater-Tots the thing about them they are hard to fuck up. In the Air Fyer they are king. French Fries sucks in the air fryer. Sonic's Tater Tots are infinitely better than Sonic's Fries. Also leftovers tots are easily reheated in the air fryer and or make perfect projectiles against annoying fools.

Also 40 bucks to see a movie isnt that crazy that's 2 movie tickets. For a mom and dad with kids this is still a deal!! It also means to make this a success 15 million people worldwide need to pay for it to make triple the money it cost to make. Since that determines the success of a movie that doesnt seem to crazy. To go along with that unlike when it goes to theaters disney doesnt have to give anyone a cut of the profits good on them

No you should not be shirtless outside of the pool. The pool has a shower room, so you can wash the chlorine off, and after that shower, you put your fucking clothes back on. End of discussion. No one should ever be shirtless unless they're in a pool/the ocean, or in their own home. It doesn't matter how hot it is, or whether you're on your way to the pool or not, humans wear clothes. No one wants to see these savages. The only time it's acceptable to be shirtless outside of the pool is if you're literally part of a tribe of bushmen, and your people haven't invented shirts yet.

Is it given that Mulan won't make as much? I thought Trolls 2's revenue was $500M while Trolls 1 made $350M. I think people are craving VOD right now. And a new demographic can watch VOD that is not likely to go to the theatre...a family with tiny kids. I have a 3 and 1-year-old and the last thing I am going to do is take my kids to a movie theater. I am more than willing to fork out $30-40 a movie to watch big, new releases. Mainly bc when I go to the movie theatres I buy popcorn, drinks, and tickets so I am near/over that amount. I think "family movies" will do better but I would be curious how a PG-13 or R-rated high profiled movie will perform.

KratosRager actually it is because with how the world works individuals can choose how to respond to the world around them you can continue to accept the fear that’s all around us and contribute to it by constantly referring to talking about how bad it is and doing nothing to help or you can try to move on you can process that fear understand the problems and work on not being apart of it. But I understand fear is what is getting clicks and views now and this company is deciding to go the same way as Fox News and cnn and capitalize off of fear.
@KratosRager4 жыл бұрын
Andrew hj what the actual fuck are you talking about? I guarantee you they’re not capitalizing on the FEAR. My fear went away months ago and I’ve just accepted that this is the world we live in. They’re just talking about their life has changed with the virus and it’s fun to hear what they deal with.
