I personally own a 2016 300s and it’s amazing. I think the greatest thing about Chrysler 300s is that they never look out of place anywhere. I live in an urban area of the city. People down here drive em. People in the suburbs drive them. I was in a rural area for work the other day and someone had one in a church parking lot. The 300 is great and I’m glad they made it.

Any issues with yours? I'm hesitant on buying Chrysler but I figure a 2021 model at this point has to have the kinks worked out
@aidensnew85623 жыл бұрын
@@wtDrake you just need to know what to look for, the V6 is actually really reliable at this point. The only concern with them is the transmission can have some issues if its overworked, people who try to tune their car to make more HP then it came stock with and that try to race these have some transmission issues and early failures. If your driving it normally and don't beat the plss out of it every day like you stole it, then there's nothing to worry about with them really. Buying used isnt the best idea cus most Dodge/Chrysler buyser abuse then dump their car's, if you ever look at a used 300 with the V6 OR EVEN THE V8 and you hear a "tick tick tick" sound when it idling RUN AWAY. Buy one new (if you can find one now) take care of it and it will 100% take care of you. Vary nice plush ride out of the 300's, just don't expect to carve out corners on twisty back roads flying at full throttle like your in a Mazda or you might end up in a ditch. The 300's are fantastic for kicking back during long highway drives.

The look on the 300 is not just dated, it's carbon-dated, with a design that's influenced by the 1920's-'40's Art Deco asthetic. But that sort of thing appeals to me. It looks and feels large and solid, like the Ford-Lincoln-Mercury sedans of the '70's and 80's, the cars of my youth, without being an aerodynamic brick like most modern SUV's. I would definitely get a 300 with a V8. It's conservative but stylish, which would be great in the 🐀 race parking lot, while still standing out among the bricks with wheels. But I "do" follow the maintenance schedule that my owners manual says, which MOST people don't do and then act disgusted when their car needs a major repair smh... Joe. I purchased a new black demo 2018 Chrysler 300C with a 5.7 Hemi which only had 6000 miles. I saved $20,000 off the $44,500 window sticker. I found that production of the 300 is just getting into the 2020 models, and they appear to be very limited. By the way they look identical. I also discovered the 300C was nearly impossible to find at Chrysler dealerships. My C has heated and cooled front moca Napa leather. Heated moca Napa leather rear. Heated and cooled cup holders. The wood trim is real wood, with very little plastic. No decals. Plus lots of technology. My headlights self adjust up, down, right and left. The front valance replaces the little grills, adding Fog lights. The Unconnect with navigation works Fantastic. The platinum 20" rim design looks great. You mentioned the 300 was a midsize car. It's actually considered a full size car. Now. Why did I purchase the 300C. I wanted a large dependable luxury/performance sedan that wasn't a cookie cutter design that didn't break the bank. The fit and finish is very good and the interior and passenger room beat the other sedans in this class due to the big and wide doors and a roofline that didn't decapitate your rear seat passengers when entering and exiting. The 300 had excellent ratings from comfort to reliability.by several reputable organizations. This is my second Chrysler with the first being a story for another time. I was ready to purchase a new Ford Taurus SHO until test driving my 300C. The SHOs rear seating area was tight. Performance was good, but was missing the exhaust rumble. Another issue at the time was Ford's decision to maintain pricing. Small rebates and smaller discounts. The SHO was over $6000 more than the car I purchased. Once I remote started the Hemi and hearing it's Rumble. I got into the drivers seat and realized this was the car I wanted. After a couple burn outs. Enjoying the performance settings and how well the car handled. I set the memory settings for the seat, mirrors and steering wheel were set. The automatic climate settings were set, and the Hemi was the perfect fit for the luxury Chrysler provided. I was sold. I should add my test drive started Friday evening and ended Monday morning. The car has a special Bentley style look with the added great stance with the large tires and rims. The car often catches other drivers attention who give compliments. Yes the styling hasn't changed for years, but in my eyes. It's a luxury hotrod that has a great look. I now have 13,000 miles and I still can't wait to hear the Hemi rumble to life and have fun driving my Chrysler 300C. I really love this car. Thanks Joe for your article. I wish you had the opportunity to drive a Hemi 300C version where the engine cover is the same for all the 5.7 Hemi powered cars. FYI. Before the shutdown. I made five passes at a local tracks test and tune. My times ranged from 13.2 with a best of 12.9. Not bad for a mid 4000 lb luxury sedan. The base 300 is just that. To much base. A lot of car for the price, but didn't come close to what I was looking for. Stay safe.

I remember when I first started seeing these cars around. It was around 2005 and I wanted to check them out so badly that I tried convincing my boss (we made a lot of road trips for work) to pretend that we were doctors just so we would have an excuse to go test drive them lmao. I have no idea why I even came up with such a pretense but whatever, I was young and extremely naive lol

If you purchase the 300C. You get real Napa diamond sewn leather seats that are extremely comfortable with heated/cooled front seats. Heated/cooled front cup holders. Heated rear seats and of course heated electronic adjustable steering wheel. No cloth or make-believe leather. Even the wood trim used in the interior is stained to match the mocha interior. If you purchase a base. You get the basic interior. I found the base was to base for what I was looking for.

I have owned two 300s. A 2010 S V6, the first year for the S model, which I sold after racking up 200,000 miles. Sold it to a neighbor and it's still going. I recently bought a 2017 S V6 AWD. The car feels smaller, like a mid size car. Interior evolution is fantastic (except for the seat comfort). The car is quick and fast. I would highly recommend this car. Still, one of the most popular and modified cars on the road. Sadly, there is talk they will be discontinued after 2020.

@JustinPennito4 жыл бұрын
Correct, I've seen others say that before too, if the Impala and Taurus are full size, this is full size. It has more interior space and amenities too if I'm not mistaking. Ford's compact during all of this has been the Focus, before that, the Escort. The Probe was suppose to be a replacement for the Mustang, but everyone raged war because it was a front-wheel drive platform.

There won't be a redesign for the fantastic and unappreciated Chrysler 300 now that Stellantis has cancelled the 300 at the end of this year. I need to point out the bottom plastic area you zonked had fog lamps in the 300C with a standard 5.7 hemi which was disconnected. The 300C had active headlights that moved with turns along with auto leveling. Another neat feature was the heated and cooled cup holders and real soft mocha leather that are heated / Cooled front including a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats. I respectfully disagree with your reliability statement. Mine has been fantastic, receiving many positive comments regarding the looks, exhaust sound, beautiful 20" chrome rims and the unique styling that doesn't look like the other sedans that appear to use the same designer. A big disappointment seeing the Chrysler 300 come to its end

One thing that Chrysler does well is the interior features. My town and country is like 15 years old and has features that are only now standard. Really does not feel dated at all other than the lack of blue tooth. Given that you can actually put full 4x8 sheets of plywood in the back with the stow and go system makes it the only minivan worth getting. The 300 does look good and one of the few sedans that still looks like an adults car.

Eh, buy a 2016 it’s the exact same car literally nothing changed. It’ll be a third of the cost and a third of the risk.

Miko_Pure did you watch the video? Chrysler has a bad history with reliability as he mentioned in the video.
@Jtob4104 жыл бұрын
Miko_Pure they aren’t physically the same car but they’re the same specs. Chrysler hasn’t changed anything on the car since 2016. So why spend $35,000 on a 2020 when you can have the same features and design for $12,000 on 2016? Imagine paying 35k on a car that breaks down or needs a major repair in less than a year? If you buy one for 12k and it breaks down you still have $23,000 to go buy another car, or in other words LESS OF A RISK.
@Jtob4104 жыл бұрын
Miko_Pure I’d look at a 2016 Avalon or a 2016 Lexus ES350. If you don’t like Japanese you should find plenty of chargers and 300’s around 20k tho.
@Jtob4104 жыл бұрын
Miko_Pure Miko_Pure lol I’m a witness that an ES350 is definitely not a suited up Camry. They stop building it on the Camry platform in 2013. It’s based on an Avalon but if you drive an Avalon and an ES350 back to back it’s like night and day. Genesis is good too they getting better with their quality.
@Jtob4104 жыл бұрын
Miko_Pure The GS is RWD and has 306 hp and the I’m trading my ES for a 2017 GS but there are plenty of those 2015 and under for well under 24k. But if you want a Charger go for it.

This is my 3rd one,Are usually trade up every two years, I always go back to this car for the good mpg,(v6) money,style, in my opinion is the best car on the road for the money, I just picked my 2022 model a few days ago and paid $3000 on the MSRP for a beautiful car,And with cars scheduled to be completely eliminated by early next year, if you are thinking about getting one do it soon there are not many left in inventory and they are not taking any more orders to build them.
