I have a 2017 300s AWD and I've given rides to around 700 people and I would say probably over 90% of the people have verbally told me how much they liked the look, ride quality and overall comfort of my car. Probably around half of them comment on how quick it feels and, given that I've added a few personalized touches to it, probably a quarter of them have asked me if it was either a HEMI or the SRT model. Numerous people have told me that they now want to get a 300 because how much they liked mine. The point is, this vehicle surprises people, mostly because of ignorance and peoples unfamiliarity with the modern Chrysler brand. There is unfortunately a stigma with Chrysler that car snobs a d-bags bring up to try and bag on someone's ride. Fact is, the 3.6 Pentastar is literally an award winning engine and so reliable that it is in everything from Challengers, to Jeeps and even RAM pickups. As @Ignite Light said in another comment, it's hard to find a vehicle with the same qualities and styling of the 300 at a decent price. Also, no one looks at a Camry or Avalon and is like, "oh wow that's a sexy ride."
@IgniteLight3 жыл бұрын

Many people have stated they did not know it was still being manufactured but they loved the look as well as the features I show them. Chrysler could sell more if they promoted it. I had a neighbor who has a new Buick but would have bought the Chrysler 300C just because it looks rich and classic. I have been a Mopar fan owning many of there cars. I had a 1964 Chrysler 300 that was a metallic red almost like this car with bucket seats. This 300C has so many features AND COMFORTS. I don't consider the info I get as warnings but as notifying me what I need to do and remind me. I wish they had a light colour interior or dual tone interior to lift the interior environment, puddle lamps, and some accent lighting on the dash. Also, the rear shade is an under-appreciated feature. It does come to use when you have a rear facing child seat and you want the child to sleep, but the sun is at the back. For a V6, it does give good economy numbers, especially for highway.

Also, not a fan of all the computer stuff. Just even the obnoxious UConnect screen. I turn my off most of the time. But the #1 thing I am hating on the new one, is there is some stuff under the dash on the driver side that my foot keeps hitting when I go to hit the brake. It is so far under and low that my foot barely can get on the brake pedal. When resting my foot on the brake pedal, I can feel that piece. Meaning there is barely enough room for my foot to even be there. Mind boggling? I am going to have to look into taking that thing off or I can't keep driving it.

My Cadillac xts has those annoying warning lights as well, hate it, especially when I turn the car on: Stabilitrak warning and TPMS come up and i have to press “ok” to take em off. Basically everything this Chrysler has.

I have different directions for my faulty turn blinker, not working on my 2017 300s. Do I need to have my complete wiring harness changed? I have replaced bulb 3 times (in case of bad "new" bulbs). My best friend put a meter on and shows no current to the pigtail, which is not available for purchase. Please help.

I'm a big fan of US cars in general & like the styling of the whole Chrysler group. What detered me from buying one this time was the reliability. Last Chrysler car I had was a 2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 & I religiously maintain my cars & don't drive hard. I couldn't spend a month with that car without having some issue somewhere. Finally gave up & sold it. I'm switching to Fords for the time being
@IgniteLight3 жыл бұрын
I hope your Fords treat you well. Aside from styling, one of the main reasons I bought the 300s was for the reliability. I've never seen one with rust and the 3.6 pentastar engines paired with the 8speed are dead reliable.

@@IgniteLight thank you sir yeah those are good but I live in the northeast so AWD is a must (which killed the deal for me)

The 300s come in AWD as well. Just in case you were not aware. Have fun in all that snow and ice! We don't receive too much of it here in Indy.

I agree with your comment on the sunroof warning but to swing a good idea that all cars with sunroofs should have is you turn off the car get out and forget to close it it closes itself automatically like how lights will when you open doors sometimes but big fan of your Chrysler man saving up for one myself always been a dream car to me but appreciate the video and I’ll definitely subscribe to you

Al Gore's rhythm must like you, this vid came up in my feed. Of course in part because I have a Chrysler 300. Mine is a '14 Hemi AWD JVLE with every option available. This however means I don't have the rear sunshade. I have the Harmon Kardon sound system that puts speakers where the sunshade mechanism would go. Also less techy in '14 so less warnings, and I'm sure some of those you can turn off. I was able to turn a handful off in my car.

How does the rear wheel drive handle in these Indiana winters?
@IgniteLight3 жыл бұрын
Very well, imo. The traction control works nicely and I've never been stranded at a stop sign spinning my tires. The rear will hang out, but it is predictable and only happens if you intended it to do so or are driving outside of the roads/weathers limits. I've not had it for any deep snow but that is rare in Indy. Usually the inbound commute will have a few inches and the roads are pretty clear for the afternoon drive home. The rwd 300 handles it easily.

Ever ride with the psi down on tires. I have the same Black 1. It's super hard to keep that black clean.... I ride michelin crossclimate 2 for tires btw. Amazing all seasons. I do 34 psi.
@IgniteLight3 жыл бұрын
If I go below ~40 PSI on my tires I can visually notice my tires cupping where the tread meets the asphalt. Check out our video where I ceramic coat the 300S. I'll be putting out an update on the ceramic coating soon... but I love it. Holds the cleanliness much longer.
