Ranger is the highest selling pickup in Australia. Also, the Raptor comes standard with a retractable bed cover here also. Interestingly, in the full size segment the F-150 is a distant 3rd in sales, the RAM 1500 and Chevy Silverado are streets ahead.

I like the Colorado looks a lot better but the 2.7&3.0 ecoboost in the rangers is the power train I would want. Definitely like the 2.7 turbo max over the 2.3 ecoboost.

Is it worth the 60k...NO. By today's standards it's in the same price target of the Colorado which is another great vehicle. I like the Ranger, we own one with a 2.3 and have a 2.7 on the way but the Tremor ride and the way it feels is excellent. Power is great and Ford offers a factory tuner that adds about 60 additional hp and I cant remember the torque figure. Like you said JB...Very hot segment and for guys like me that always drive HD trucks its nice to hop in a smaller truck and get to where you are going.

Great video JB. Not a fan of the ford ranger. I rented one in Idaho for 2 weeks it wouldn’t stop beeping at me. So annoying by the time I dropped it back off i said I would never own one.

The Ford 3 liter distinguishes itself as being well above the 2.7 liter that Chevy brings to the mid-size market in the Colorado. Could we see the 3 liter Duramax Diesel in the future in the Colorado?

FYI BJ. The best Ranger deal is the XLT 4X4 with the 2.7L V6. Does the Ranger Raptor have front and rear locking diffs? I dont think so.
