@@O2uned it’s one of the best cars I’ve had .. an not the IS just I .. I also got a 2014 640i and the driving experience between both are completely different

The simple answer is NO, unless you are willing to learn how to fix things by your own, or you don't mind spending lots of money for potential repairs. :)

They are pretty sweet a little slower mod for mod than the n54 but things like injectors are cheaper. Just gotta look through them before you buy. I always am worried about the rod bearings maybe because I’ve just seen to many abused. All about the people before you. Also just gotta make sure a belt didn’t get sucked into the front main like the n54. The later model n55 was really strong in the m235 and m2. Our buddy does have a n55 stage 2 + 435 with 185xxx miles on it and he rips it.

Lol Cheap N54/N55 gotta warn the people. But we still own N54s because they are fun and relatively cheap for what you are getting.

don't buy it if you cant do some of the maintenance/upgrades yourself
